    That’s very good.

    But I think there’s a lot of poetry in it. Absolutely perfect wisdom is literally impossible for living organisms, ie. largely subconsciously-organised things. The subconscious is hardwired to organise and protect the body against dissolution and death; it always rules itself to be organised into an organism, to be autonomously immune against invading entities; that’s a lot of effort and energy in support of delusion. Perhaps he is talking about consciously becoming weary of life, to reduce as much as possible the subconscious ego?
