Bert,
it's ok for you to hate me,cause like Sapius says, what can I do about it?
and what can I do about it if you do not understand me?
Exactly! Each and every thing is absolutely unique, and one could only see similarities to the extent where opinions match to a certain degree, but ultimately, YOU cannot get an Absolute confirmation of your own being, because of the uniqueness of each thing that causality creates and does not repeat, ever. So don't look for confirmation, for none other actually can.
he who is pure in his wisdom of sound sleep has no dogma to expound.
like I said, those who contain the great Ideas have no opinions.
However, I kind of like you opinion about those that contain great ideas ‘have no opinion’.

I can’t say the same for the rest of your post, but this…
when your hunger shall still?
… I kind of understand. I see that as in “desire has no end, so stop desiring”, or, say an answer to that question – “Never, for who could ever still causality”,

Yes, I see what you mean, but this process is in the individual’s control because there is no individual to be in control. His will is drawn to what it is drawn to based on his psychological maturity.

And also his conditioning dictates what is chooses. For the most part choice is conflict. But that is not to say that he is not without desire, but his desires are much more intelligent/simple/minimal.

Sapius wrote:
No, there are no uncertainties.
The future is uncertain.

Duality is all that there is
Are you saying that all that which is worldly is of duality meaning that it exists, but that which is of genius has no existence, however paradoxically this state of non-existence is the true existence whereas the world of duality/world of suffering/world of self-deception is more of a dream existence where individuals are not yet self-realized or are not yet no-self realized, however you want to phrase it.

I remember reading that Jiddu Krishnamurti and Adous Huxley would walk together on hiking trails and K would simply wish to observe nature without labels/without the word, but Huxley had to be constantly labeling things and expressing his knowledge verbally, he wouldn’t stop thinking.

After one of their last walks together K said something like “That man’s mind is like a garbage can!”

Are you saying no self is self and no self is illustrated/defined through various degrees of self?

Maybe you could write about what influences a person to be interested in one area of thought, and not another.

Yes, Sort of, allow me to put it another way. And Suzie Q, this one’s for you!

I’ll use my father as a case study:

My father has accumulated a large amount of knowledge that he strongly identifies with emotionally. And the knowledge that he values is based on his past experiences. For instance: my father strongly values the 1060s rock and roll movement, especially the British invasion when the Beatles came to America.

Moreover he has accumulated a myriad of related facts (mostly true) surrounding that movement and he strongly identifies with these facts.

This is slightly different then a Christian who believes in Jesus as saviour because he strongly identifies with false beliefs whereas my father strongly identifies with historic facts.

Both are deluded, but my father is slightly different because all of the information he has gathered is mostly correct.

The problem lies in the identification and how that identification essentially molds the false self.

My father is afraid of death because he is strongly attached to the knowledge that he has accumulated. This knowledge is essentially him.

I suspect the wise man is not attached to knowledge, but rather uses it as a tool and after he is finished with it, it is dropped from existence and he returns to a state of emptiness.

Tragically my father knows no state of emptiness. When he isn’t trying to influence me with his Beatle trivia, he’s watching TV or drinking, gambling or doing chores for my mother.

His mind is never still and this is why the man is so dull. His brain is in a state of decay, it has lost its sharpness. I suspect my father will be the perfect candidate for Alzheimer’s disease as he gets older. Actually I’m already beginning to see the symptoms now….

I can’t say the same for the rest of your post, but this…
why can't you say?
conate!

finding supportable evidence is not difficult, everything has 'a point of connection' when it is immediate regarding space and time.
when I wrote it,WHO was writing it.as robert anton wilson says, you can constantly ask:who is doing the thinking?or what braincircuit am I in now?
you can not obtain something from yourself, only through yourself.
the writing of the Anathema was written in the 'light' of (it has no use for a name,but..)RI,it is kinda like (for example) Nietzsche's Zarahustra.
It's like saying I am RI,the goatherd, your saviour of things you have not yet realised, etc.
its the magical entity that has connection to the (it has no need for a name,but...)what for example the ancient Egyptians called Amon-Ra,the virgin quantum.the Amon-Ra speaketh of RI like this :nature is more atrocious.it is he who sayeth:There is neither thou nor I nor a third persona.etc.It is he who says: Isolation in ecstacy is enough, the final inducement.

so the post does not apply to anyone and then again not,for it is written to your "I".It is written to myself also,to you,to the "I" of Nietzsche.

the illusive phenomenal world is acceptable as the reality that builts connation(see topic empirical genius) and as opportunity for flesh.

parabels are there to meet the error.as Schiller said:In error only is their life, and knowledge must be death

how can anything be untrue?for truth all things must be true.our confusion lies in the relating in time and space - when it what essential?and is it essential?

the language of fools is words(would Amon-Ra say)

I can go on..and go on,for nothing has ever to stop..duality is law,law depends on two,two is uberty, millions;law is complicated.did it view in all its aspects?did it determine?

tell me?What is it that the obvious not contains?

I ask ,when(as usually stated) we can not conceive what we are conceiving, then what is conceivable?

and now I must go,I'm late.

Bert… Bert…. Please…

All that I meant is that I could only UNDERSTAND your last sentence, and I gave the two different ways in which I could UNDERSTAND it. I cannot make head or tail of your posts generally speaking.

English is NOT my mother tongue either, but I have worked on it, and I try to do my best because it IS a more widely spoken language, and it is not as difficult as one might take it to be.

So, please work on English first; use some grammar, proper punctuations, and paragraphs where needed, and so on. English reading people will immediately discount your post for that reason alone. David did point it out earlier.

CP, I will get back to your post soon.

yes, I agree with Sapius.

you need to work on your sentence structure bert, notice the periods and the spaces in other people's work, here are some grammer tips:

After a comma, one space.

After a period. Two spaces

And If you write an entire paragraph completing a thought.

hit enter and start another paragraph.

These little things will make your work much more readable. Don't just bunch everything together because people wont want to put the energy into translating what you're saying.

Ya, UG hit the nail on the head. Naturally there is no cause and effect process. There aren't even individual 'things' to be caused or effected. The seperatation of things and events is another form of our mental discrimination.

Cause and effect is a mental construct created in an attempt to describe the world in human terms, its fine for day to day stuff. Like, what caused you to hit him? Or what caused that fire? ETC.

Cause & Effect is good for survival and getting ahead in the world.
But the concept is utterly useless in real philosophy.

People who try to create a philosophy by implementing cause and effect might as well replace it with a philosophy revolving around money, sex, cats and dogs or other trivial mundane things.

How about happiness and stress free living? is that a good basis for a philosophical system?

CP,
S: It IS voluntary, a willful process of THAT particular causality created THING.

CP: Yes, I see what you mean, but this process is in the individual’s control because there is no individual to be in control.
Yes, you see what I mean, but not through and through.

There is necessarily an “individual”, (and is in control to a great degree through reasoning), otherwise, A=A (Recognition -> Differentiation -> Reaction) is not possible. Thinking otherwise is pure fantasy.
CP: His will is drawn to what it is drawn to based on his psychological maturity.
And what shapes HIS psychological maturity? Uncontrollable causal conditions, or does HIS reasoning play any part in it? Concepts are thrown about a penny for a pound, and all of those concepts could, and are, “causes” that one can logically analyze, and then accept OR reject, or see a different concept all together, which is actually building HIS psychological profile. The “will” of an individual thing does not drop down from the sky, it all happens HERE and NOW.
CP: And also his conditioning dictates what is (it) chooses. (or, what is chosen) For the most part choice is conflict.
What conditioning? Was your mentality magically “conditioned” to be what it is NOW? Or did YOUR reasoning force you to reject what you reasoned NOT to be true? Although dependant on the principle of casue and effect. I am not denying the Ultimate Hold that causality has on each and every THING, and its OVER ALL connection, but that does not mean that Individual things do not exist at all; causality creates THEM, hence anything is aware of anything at all. How else could Awareness be possible otherwise?

And the “conflict” you talk about, is real, it does exist, isn’t it? Hence the choosing.
CP: But that is not to say that he is not without desire, but his desires are much more intelligent/simple/minimal.
Sure, but if you could only replace the word ‘desire’ with ‘will’ and look at it again; you shall see that it actually is one and the same thing.
S: No, there are no uncertainties.

CP: The future is uncertain.
In this, your thoughts have slid down to the ground floor so to speak.

“Future” is necessarily connected to foretelling, and in that there will necessarily be uncertainties because of OUR limitations as a THING, but isn’t “uncertainty” a part and parcel of Totality, Existence, Reality?

In that, you are actually certain that foretelling will necessarily be uncertain, and there is nothing paradoxical about it.

On the other hand, I already learnt in the “kindergarten” that “Future” does not EXIST from the Existence point of view, and hence, foretelling, just like any other thing, necessarily exists in the NOW. The future has not happened other than it being a concept, and the past is but a memory, hence all that there is, is the NOW, that we are actually aware of, not any other “time”, for Actually there is none.
S: Duality is all that there is

CP: Are you saying that all that which is worldly is of duality meaning that it exists, but that which is of genius has no existence, however paradoxically this state of non-existence is the true existence whereas the world of duality/world of suffering/world of self-deception is more of a dream existence where individuals are not yet self-realized or are not yet no-self realized, however you want to phrase it.
Could you please leave the “genius” part out. That doesn't make much sense to me.

There is no such thing as “worldly” and “non-worldly” (is that what you mean by “genius”); we mistakenly divide it up conceptually. There cannot be a “state” of “non-existence”, for it would be JUST that, Non-existent, hence there is no paradox at all; WE simply think it up as “paradox”.

As long as a thing is a thing, which it cannot be otherwise or turn itself into a non-thing or any such “state”, “sufferings” are here to say, and THAT fact has to be logically embraced, and thence the inherent meaning connected to “sufferings”, hold no real meaning at all. The real Self-deception is thinking that Sufferings ARE indeed Sufferings, and that “I” the great can Actually remove them by attaining a certain “non-existent” STATE, or attain an Absolutely “non-delusional-state”. How the fuk is he going to get rid of the “I”, (A=A), which he also considers as some sort of an “illusory” thing with some vague “Reality” that is “TRULY underlying” CONSCIOUSNESS itself. One necessarily dwells in and of duality, not beyond IT. Nothing exists beyond duality - beyond A=A.

Simply Realizing the Truth of “sufferings” does not place one in some “paradoxical state”, nor in some magical “non-existence-state”; it is simply a change of PERSPECTIVE, where no paradoxes remain. There are no “paradoxes” that even arise to create a conflict; hence the Self simply follows with that which causally comes up. It does not THINK about anything else than it is supposed to be thinking about at any given moment of the NOW, which even encompasses the “concepts” of past and future, effortlessly flowing without any mental conflict.
CP: I remember reading that Jiddu Krishnamurti and Adous Huxley would walk together on hiking trails and K would simply wish to observe nature without labels/without the word, but Huxley had to be constantly labeling things and expressing his knowledge verbally, he wouldn’t stop thinking.

After one of their last walks together K said something like “That man’s mind is like a garbage can!”
But don’t you see, although one could say that JK has no paradoxes as such, but yet he HAS to necessarily use “garbage” to express what he means by GARBAGE. Hence one is not transported to a different “world” once paradoxes disappear, just the perspective changes.
S: That does not mean that I become ONE with every THING that exists, just that I can mentally project MY conceptualization into all THINGS, and yet remain an “I”, because that cannot be gotten rid of, because THAT is consciousness itself, the “I”, which cannot exist without duality, hence duality is all that there IS, with all its attributes that makes it ALIVE.

CP: Are you saying no self is self and no self is illustrated/defined through various degrees of self?
No, not at all; please don’t confuse that which is already clear and simple. What the hell does “self is self and NO self” actually mean? That’s actually one of the garbage that JK would say is. I AM ME, and I AM, other THINGS are what they are, and they ARE. BUT essentially, through CONCEPTULIZATION, I can see that there is no BASIC or ESSENTIAL difference between any-THING at all, because “I” see A=A being the foundation of any and ALL THINGS, including “I”, and that does not make ME or any-other-thing one and the same THING. Things remain exactly as they are, and perfect as ever.

Okay, I see what you are saying. Essentially there is still an individual and still a will, however the manner in which that will is operating is much more intelligent than the will of the mediocre man.

Sapus wrote:

Okay, how about this, the mediocre man is making real choices based on real desires, but can we say that he is not fully aware or conscious of what he is doing? He is controlled by desires that he does not fully understand…

Sapius wrote:

Yes, I agree, I used the wrong choice of words. The wise man is not without will.

Okay, so you are suggesting that there are absolutely no uncertainites? There is nothing you are uncertain of?

My choice of words was incredibly sloppy here, I agree. I need to stop conceptualizing using paradox to describe the differences between the psychological states of the wise man and the stupid man. You are correct, both men are essentially functioning in the same manner. A=A

will is the phallic will, the creative urge to do or make.

Well, that may be true when you see things in their divided forms, but basically and ‘essentially”, which means in ‘essence’, ALL things operate through A=A, including all the attributes you mention, and I see it from THAT point of view, hence no basic difference in ‘desire’, nor ‘will’, nor even ‘belief’ as such, and yet they necessarily are, as and what we define them to be.

It is only a matter of perspective, and no perspective is essentially right or wrong from a purely A=A perspective, and yet the difference is very real from the reasoning point of view, which is also based in and of A=A.

CP,
Essentially there is still an individual and still a will, however the manner in which that will is operating is much more intelligent than the will of the mediocre man.
I hope you take that difference of “more intelligent” and “mediocre” on horizontal scale rather than on a vertical scale. A vertical scale means one is still stuck with egoism; pride to be accurate.

An individual “will” (as in humans) is not a pre-existing or a “solid” unchanging thing as such, because as I mentioned, reasoning and thinking can change a “will”, so what exactly is “will” other than what ones reasoning makes it to be? In which, the “reasoning” may not necessarily be a clear one as you and I think of it. Even a priest thinks his reasoning is clear enough and acts on it, so what is his action other than his ‘will’ that he is acting upon?

I may not be able to express this with more clarity, but I hope you can see it.
Okay, how about this, the mediocre man is making real choices based on real desires, but can we say that he is not fully aware or conscious of what he is doing? He is controlled by desires that he does not fully understand…
Exactly. But not that ‘HE does not fully understand”, that is how you and I see it as BECASUE we KNOW the Difference; Actually he does not even attempt to understand. Why? Because he believes in ‘seeing is believing’; a boat even you and I were born into, but we used the tool of logic and reasoning differently than how he uses it. So in fact, it the very same tool - "reasoning” - that creates “delusions” and also clears them up, and that WE now KNOW that 'reasoning' is indeed a TOOL, he doesn’t.

But the difference one finds after clearing up is, that “delusions” ARE not Delusions at all, they are indeed exactly what they are, and they are just that, and I KNOW them for what they are. Hence, “I found that there was nothing ACTUALLY to be found or attained (elsewhere)” except the change of PERSPECTIVE. The person who said “that”, did not complete the sentence and omitted the ‘change of perspective’ part. And I know why is that too, because generally people will not give it a second thought if they are told it is that simple. Hence the “lofty-ness” attributed to something called “enlightenment”, to drive simple folks towards realizing a simple fact. But unfortunately, obviously, that very same thing strengths the false-ego rather than kill it. What can I say…
In that, you are actually certain that foretelling will necessarily be uncertain, and there is nothing paradoxical about it.

Okay, so you are suggesting that there are absolutely no uncertainites? There is nothing you are uncertain of?
No, I’m not suggesting that there are no uncertainties. I’m saying that there ARE uncertainties, and that they are a fact, and I am absolutely certain that they are indeed a fact, and I am certain about that. Not that I am certain of THAT which might actually be an uncertain thing in its self. Absolute Certainly is a myth.

Let me give you an example. I step out in the rain to find a three feet across mucky water spot. Now I am not sure how deep it goes, (uncertainty), so I foretell myself, if I step in it, I will surely get dirty, but I might even break my leg, so it is better that I avoid it if possible. I do not run around in that rain to find a yardstick to check its depth and acquire ‘certainty’, and yet again find that the hole is deeper that a yard and then again run about to find a longer pole. So, how bad is “uncertainty” itself? It just saved my leg from possible harm because I just walked around it, and that is a reasonable thing to do irrelevant of the uncertainty existing, and me being aware of it.

Just because I’m uncertain about empiricism, does not mean I throw away the dirty water with the baby. Uncertainly is as helpful as it could be harmful. Use Reason to differentiate and act accordingly. With all the uncertainties that abide in a philosophical world, which certain “philosophers” hate and stay away from, how wrong or harmful is it to try and predict the weather that saves thousands of life in time? Uncertainties are also a part and parcel of existence, and we make what we like to make of them, it remains a matter of perspective too. Isn’t it?

The same philosophers that advocate avoidance of uncertainties use it to judge every step they take, and say that taking any step should come out of certainty. How sure is one that the earth will not split apart on the very next step?

Now I know that I will be told that the "empirical" and the "philosophical" worlds are different, but coming back to the original point, what the hell is the REAL difference? How can there possibly be two "worlds", when ALL lies within A=A? And that there is nothing with-out it.

CP just ran with the, “human knowledge is not ‘unnatural’ or some ‘illusion’” part, and then ploughed in his manure on top of yours. You need to define what you mean by human knowledge/interpretations being “natural” as opposed to being “unnatural”.
Dear Sue, basically you have no right to talk about any thing that an ANOTHER THING says or does, because you know for an absolutely surety that any and all THINGS are but appearances to YOUR mind, and although they surely are what they are, but you are not sure if that which appears, do or do not exist as ‘individual’ things beyond YOUR MIND. That is, with their own individual attributes according to their own individually created causal conditions. Over which YOU have no control, but yet they are “appearances” to your mind, and have no other reality, truth or existence as such. Right?

First solve the above problem, and then, may be, I could take YOUR comments seriously, as being YOUR comments, because if I go according to your philosophical and logical conclusions… taking ONLY that “appearance to MY mind” thing literally, then why should I even bother questioning that which appears? They are appearances, and I’m absolutely sure of that, and that’s that.

If CP and Sapius seem illogical to you, or that YOU do not understand what THEY are talking about, how does that really matter to YOU? You are not even sure if we exist beyond YOUR MIND, so why question THAT which may not exist? Are you not the masculine minded person who does not entertain any thing except that which encompasses absolute certainty? How certain are YOU that I exist beyond your mind? If you are not, why try communicating with that that might not exist?
Dear Sapius, you continue to be happily lost in an emotional flurry of activity which has no philosophical basis. This I’m certain of, along with the fact that your ignorance about existence doesn’t bother you in the least. For if it did, you would have sorted out by now what existence is. All I’ll say for now is ‘cause and effect’, and ‘think’.

All the best,
Sue

Yes, Sort of, allow me to put it another way.

So, they both depend on emotional attachments.
Both are deluded, but my father is slightly different because all of the information he has gathered is mostly correct.
Is it because of your father’s emotional attachments that you consider him to be deluded?
The problem lies in the identification and how that identification essentially molds the false self.
So our attachments prevent us from seeing what we really are?
My father is afraid of death because he is strongly attached to the knowledge that he has accumulated. This knowledge is essentially him.
Yes – crazy stuff, eh!
I suspect the wise man is not attached to knowledge, but rather uses it as a tool and after he is finished with it, it is dropped from existence and he returns to a state of emptiness.

The wise man knows that there is no inherent existing self, because it depends on causality for its existence. Knowledge, too, is causally dependent – as is everything in the universe. Emptiness is not causally dependent, because it is the totality. So you can never return or leave Emptiness – because it is everything, always.

You could rightly say that anyone who didn’t understand Emptiness was already suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, because they incorrectly identify things – i.e. making things what they are not.

p.s. This was much clearer CP – thanks.

Thanks for the kind concern, Sue, but my opinion still stands that you have yet to discover the depth of ‘cause and effect’, and see the truth that there is not such a “thing” one defines as ‘mind’, but simply causality, which necessarily comes about when there is more than ONE thing around; all things causally created as individual things, although in and of of the same causality.

You have yet to show me how is it that although “I” am nothing more than an ‘appearance’ beyond YOUR mind, I operate logically and individually irrelevant of YOUR mind being around, or YOU having no control over THAT which appears?

This “appearance” thing has gone to the heads of many and are deluded in the sense that they cannot or choose not to see the other side of the coin, and both sides TOGETHER make existence - existence, not just the ONE side of it.

The most primary cause, or aspect of existence, cannot be defined in terms of anything other than itself.

A = A

Existence at its core is ultimately self referential.
