lol individual awareness is an illusion, the ego, your own side, but awareness exists, awareness of illusion and form, otherwise there would be no experience, yes we already said death was an illusion twice, same with birth, yes you were aware before you were born, you just weren't bluerap. The same thing aware of bluerap is aware of me, that becomes clear when you realize "you" are not bluerap, bluerap is made up of transient feelings and sensations, "you" are what is aware of those.

Awareness of any personal, global, universal or inter-dimensional flavor is always "on its own", that's what makes it tick. Its sadness and sweetness.

"What is aware of John and Diebert", that is just clever sophistry. Whoever or whatever is aware at some point, the awareness will pass. Deal with it and you'll be the wiser.

You cannot say someone is aware before they become that someone. It's something you make up because it helps you to cope with the dilemma you created yourself. But it won't last.

No not "someone" this awareness has no characteristics besides becoming, what I'm saying is you have absolutely no control over your actions or thoughts, that your thoughts are flowing from the same source as mine, we act and react upon each others experiences, I have no free will and hence "it" wrote this, the same "it" writing, is also "you" reading, and that which is feelings or hearing your thoughts and sensations is the same thing feeling or hearing my thoughts and sensations.

I might as well be more direct, I'm only talking about what I've already experienced haha, we are the same thing, "Tao"/"Great Mother"/"God" only following different forms.

"Two" guys walk into the same dream and start arguing with them self if there is a dreamer or not, the dreamer is them and reality is subject to their thoughts which aren't theirs.

what you have to break thru, John, is 'the house of language'.
conceptualising,
visualising,
storifying,
meaning making.

Your quest for intrinsic Identity.

its not there.

consciousness as a Great Liar is worth considering in the set of options.

Dennis,

What else am I to say but speak what I know? When I sleep now I do not do what others may do, I enter serenity, comfort, my seat, and when I dream I am not so unaware as others are... From the experience of last night alone, I was in a room last night with four people I see regularly, it was not the same home, I was having a conversation, speaking to them, seeing them, I accidentally sat on my friends leg thinking the chair behind me was vacant and we had a laugh, and when I awoke it was a true memory, I remember it being real as we all do when we first wake... until the ordinary man recognizes he was sleeping, and through his false knowledge and discrimination, through his ignorance he says, "That was not a real memory, that did not happen, I was not in a place like I am in a place now, that was not my real form as I have real form now"

But I tell you I have seen the place, felt it, touched it, talked with men, on various occasions I have caught forms in the void of formlessness and followed them until such a reality is manifest, until I have seen it and felt it, and then have let go of such forms to return to wakefulness of the void, followed other forms of my choice(it's), until such a reality is manifest, until I have seen it, felt it.

Yet you still say, due to your lack of memory and wakefulness while sleeping, through your ignorance and unbelief of what is, "that was not real, that did not happen, I was not in a real place like I am now"

Graspin'? Some things are just known,

Looks like you've dropped the term "mind" and now call it "awareness" instead.

As usual, you are being very vague in describing this thing (now called awareness). If you are going to insist that awareness is the only thing that exists, you must supply the backdrop that allows and drives it's existence. For example, how and why is "it" aware of both you and me? What was it aware of before I was bluerap?

I can see why it would appear that awareness is all that exists, but in full consideration of what it means for something to "exist," this outlook simply doesn't work.

Why not just let the "void" (the formless unknown from which all things come) be the "void"? You seem very compelled to add that there's something else there. But to claim such a thing, you need the ability to peer beyond conscious perception and objectify, which is clearly impossible. Narrow your focus onto the reality right in front of you. You can't sense in any detail whatsoever what exists beyond perception, indirectly or otherwise.

^ Both comments based on the definition of the word "exists".

I am letting the void be the void, the only difference is, I am in complete recognition that I am one with it, as you are.

It means a combination of letters that don't mean anything....and each time it is read a new concept/images arise.

You know exactly what exists and doesn't exist lol so don't give reasons like "oh your giving it existence!" like Dennis here, what exists are experiences.

"Narrow your focus onto the reality right in front of you. You can't sense in any detail whatsoever what exists beyond perception, indirectly or otherwise."

I agree, what's right in front of me is this illusory thing that's typing all this and thinking while communicating with other things in such a miraculous scenario that I could never understand how it is happening, all of which is emanating from one source, you are like the "minds eye" looking into experiences and dreams and so forth, you exist, the source exists, you are one with it, anyone actually disagreeing with anything yet?

You are dishonest now and twisting words.

You had a dream.
So what?
Its you implying some extraordinary supercallifragilisticexpialidocious significance to it.

The MEANING you make of it.
Do you give it absolute existence?

Not twisting any words, I am giving no meaning besides, "oh look, it's a lot like when I'm awake", and making inferences haha, one of them being, "My awareness/ability to experience is independent of my body or form", this very true statement, sums it all up don't you think?

You haven't yet pointed out what you disagree with what I've said Dennis? Do I give what absolute existence, me?

In 'my private Idaho'
I have tricks for lucid dreaming or astral planing or whatever the names are,
flying thru' space, a pair of eyes looking detachedly at the seething mass of humanity, communing with the oracles of Delphi, standing at the steps of the parthenon listening to orators, sitting in classrooms listening to spiritual guides instructing, dancing with 'light beings', being taken to heaven.
thousands of experiences.

So what?

phenomenal.

who cares?

Thankfully.

it works out that all the compounded things arise out of specific conditionality.
all things arise out of a cause and there's nobody to create them.

Thankfully, only the enlightened man is dull, but as you said "It's a fuckin' privilege" not just "So what?" and you'll be glad to know the purpose has been found; clear delusion. I came in contact with a few Christians the past few days, I found out how deluded most were, (Yelling at people saying they've been possessed by their lord satan, or having no clue what "God" is, imagining an external creator and assigning so many of those made up identity's and characteristics you don't like) and worked on helping them understand a lot of new things. That's clearing delusion on both sides of the fence mind you, it doesn't matter your beliefs, the amount of people caught in false knowledge and suffering is incredible.

All I hear all day long is people complaining bitching and moaning, stressing, hating and being miserable, all based on delusion, like getting a stain on your pants for the average girl, and all these people are standing in "heaven" or at least on earth and really all they need to end all that is to understand the "way", this is our job, or aka, to "bring forth good fruit".

If you are going to talk to them, ditch your winning formula.
shut your stupid mouth and listen.

listen for the ego (will to power)
listen for the whining complaint (shadow)

keep your mouth shut and keep listening.

the problem is nobody has been listened to; ever, not ever, at no time, not once.

when it dawns on them they are being listened to, their ground shifts, the bullshit drops off and a 'shy kid' appears.

when the 'shy kid' appears,
shut your stupid mouth and be gentle.

horse whisperer.
causes/conditions.

"shut your stupid mouth and be gentle."

I agree :) It is definitely true the only way is to treat them with gentle compassion, otherwise there is no listening as you say, this winning formula you think I need to abandon doesn't exist. To say and act perfectly in that moment, let go of absolutely everything, and to end up in the perfect place, completely let go of the future, all that is left is what flows naturally

Way to avoid the question. Apparently you know what exists better I do.

I completely disagree. The self does not exist. There is no "source."

This is just more avoidance. Those questions about the details of your source weren't necessarily rhetorical. Please explain how this "mind's eye" is something that is real, and not something that you have imagined into existence. You speak of this "awareness" as if it exists in a vacuum with nothing existing beyond it. To say something exists, is to say that it is finite, and just another part of infinite causation. Existence doesn't 'start' with any "source."

As long as you keep ignoring what existence means, you will continue uttering your ignorance on the matter.

Lol the guy experiencing the universe is asking what existence means, you know exactly what exists, don't be a douche, there is only one thing in this whole world you have ever seen to exist: Experience, and it exists as far as your experiences do.

I don't care about your definition of what is existent or non-existent, as the Buddha said, people talking like that are the ignorant one's lol.

I am speaking of nothing but my experience, I literally haven't mentioned one thing ever in my life outside of it, unless my experiences don't exist bluerap?

"I am",a simple and obvious fact you seem not to agree with, is the deep foundation of all spiritual understanding, consciousness is, never again ask me my definition of existence lol cause one day you will realize how idiotic such a question is, really you will, you'll be like, oh damn, that was such an idiotic question.

I am not asking you what it means, I am trying to show you that you haven't understood it yet. Nor do you have any intention to so far.

You're at a very early stage of spiritual development, something that has been pointed out to you to by many long term members here. They have been studying the texts of everyone you quote for a long, long time. It's obvious that you are new to this stuff, as evident by your age, your inconsistent use of language, and stubborn misinterpretation of the fundamental issues. So you've had a few epiphanies about reality? I've gone through the same things and reached your level of understanding a long time ago, but at least I had the wit to know that I was far from finished.

It's getting old, coming here to see you spewing your premature "enlightenment" all over this place every day, while at the same time continue to lack the humility to take advice from those of us who are much further down the path.

Since there can be no boredom without ignorance, consider that when each experience is extraordinary in and of itself, rather than in comparison to memory, then equanimity becomes the norm, and ordinary suffices for any extras.
