Re: Omens
Mystex:
Omens are the left side of the equation of oracles; the right side is prediction.
Study the omen literature of ancient Babylonian society.
Psychotic minds react to their immediate situation, environment and world with a heightened sense of acuity induced by madness or information overload in the brain.
It is anxiety and panic finding its soul-mate in a concrete symbol invested with dread and awe.
Does this help you?

Re: Omens
Prince:
I do not understand where you are coming from?
I had just read Professor Jean Bottero's treatise on Omen literature, so I had a natural interest in the subject. I thought I had added something useful.
Obviously, you disagree. Did you wish to add more lucid, meaningful statements?
I picked up on some of your statements in other posts, I must confess that I enjoyed them immensely! I apologize for your displeasure or distemper I induced in your mental equanimity or equilibrium.
Respectfully,
John E.D.P. Malin
P.S. The charge of 'pompous' is too strident.
