I don't think Crowley was a freemason, I think he was part of the Ordo Templi Orientis, which is what your link says.Kunga wrote:Dejavu...he( Aleister Crowley ) was a Freemason :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleister_Crowley
The Ordo Templi Orientis was supposed to relate to freemasonry somehow, but it apparently isn't part of the freemason order. More like a copy-cat order, and Crowley's Hermetic philosophy may not have directly related to the O.T.O., after-all he founded the religion of Thelema.
I am not a freemason, but I know some freemasons and I've done extensive research on it. They appear to be an order focusing on a perennial philosophy, at bottom they required members to have a belief in a higher power/God. But that is the only way in which they discriminate, as far as I know. Jews, Muslims, Zorastrians, Spinozans can join the Freemasons, but Atheists can't.

Maybe Tomas can tell us the Truth about Freemasonry ?

Can Tomas tell the 'truth' about anything? Can Tomas 'see' and 'discern' anything about his world? That is a question that is a wee bit up in the air. I would have to say that Tomas, by and large, is an original member of the Tea Party Movement.
What say you, Tomas? ;-)

Re: A criticism.
I don't see why one would be risking their life. You can walk into a Freemason lodge, get a tour and have much it explained to you. You can walk through the halls examining their artefacts and homages to King Solomon, you observe the myriad references to Judaism, Christianity, Islam and the "Grand Architect". You can gain a basic understanding of initiation rites, they follow a basic theme of rebirth. The Freemasons are not going to condemn you for knowing or speaking about it. Though, there are certain secrets within it, which I suspect are of a "spiritual" or philosophical nature, but nothing really out of the ordinary.Kunga wrote:Maybe Tomas can tell us the Truth about Freemasonry ?

Re: A criticism.
I've come across many radical claims about Freemasonry, Satanism turns out to be the most common. However, Freemasonry has its roots in Solomon and the Knight's Templar, this much is obvious. If you want to compare the Knight's Templar to the Roman Catholic Church that banished them, then by all means, which one is Satan worship?
As I understand it, the Knight's Templar were an independent order of virtuous or perhaps pseudo-virtuous men who battled constantly from Cypress into the "Holy Land" of Eretz Israel. They battled for centuries against the Mongols, Mamluk, Hafsids as well as others. It was the Mamluk and Hafsids that drove the Templar out and the Templar lost favour with European kings, pressure was put on the Pope who presided over the kings to disavow the Templar, so they were mostly persecuted and burned at the steak. Very few survived and went on to found a secret order, which eventually became the Freemasons. This order preserves the honor or sentiment or order of the Knights Templar and the treasure of Solomon.

Your mode of a raw food diet may be an interesting one. Any favorites to pass on? I'd done (some of the) the raw food "trips" back in 1973-75, late 1980s and lastly in the early 2000s. The early 2000s time was probably the best due to the Internet taking off, so much to choose from (the food combinations, varieties, recipes, and so forth). There isn't much I'd do differently in each timeframe but then ignorance is bliss...
-Kunga's loose language-
juicing organic shit & eatting raw food....
-tomas intones-
Kindly refine the 'shit word' to actual food types to juice :-)
-Kunga never starves-
I gotta eat like every 2 hours (stuff myself with nutritious food)
-tomas changes his tune-
That's understandable, my (dad's sister) late aunt adhered to the 'small meals regimen' to the tune of about 7-8 times per day. She would have her last mini-meal about 7PM. She juiced in the 1940s before it was in vogue. Lived into her early 90s .. her heart gave out but we all gotta "go" sometime.
My current (today) eating consists of...
EVERYDAY: 3 cups of Classic Roast Folger's coffee with non-hormone real cream.
EVERYDAY: 3+ quarts of reverse-osmosis warter
Breakfast: 6 non-hormone (free range brown) eggs over medium and 5 grass-fed beef sausage patties.
Midmorning: Half a cantalope, 5 raspberries.
Early afternoon: 1/2 cup oatmeal in 1 cup cream/water mix served lukewarm and two slices of hemp bread.
Just polished off 2 skinless chicken thighs (with turmeric) and broccoli (mildly steamed) with a couple slices of provolone cheese on top.
My final meal of the day will be a piece of that veggie birthday cake of yours ;-)
-Kunga finally admits her birth date-
...if i don't... i blow it.....i totally blew it today :(
-tomas pulls out the honey jar-
Well, Happy Birthday! How many candles did you have to blow out on the veggie cake? If you're interested - I've a wonderful broccoli cake frosting recipe to pass your way. Come on, sweets, you can admit your age - I won't tell anyone.

Been around the block a time or two .. but there's a couple "drugs" wouldn't have done, (if could take back time).
They weren't scary, just wouldn't have. Nothing to gain from them. Most were instructional, solemn trips taken without the need (or use) of electronic music stimuli. The Vitamin A & Peyote trips were most spiritually satisfying when alone with my family at The Indian Rez, camping in the Badlands of North Dakota or at Kilauea to watch the volcano eruptions (the colors are magnificent) and Mauna Kea to "peer through" telescopes directed at "outer" space. Figgered you'd see through the mime :-)

don't be a hypocrite....you brag about your drug use !
-tomas-
Been around the block a time or two .. but there's a couple "drugs" wouldn't have done, (if could take back time).
Men seeing visions, men dreaming dreams :-)

Tomas

Re: A criticism.
Seriously Tomas! Seriousness is the key here, as opposed to all the joking, winking and mediocre humor which are in most cases expressions of anxieties around perceived hierarchy or seniority, sometimes as weak challenge, sometimes a feeble means to assert.
Good comedy lies more in the realm of the sense of absurdity and irony. And most jokers around here have no clé.

Well don't you worry none, Herr Diebert!
PS - Single spacing between words. Note#1: sometimes as .. Note#2: to assert.

Re: A criticism.
The Tea Party is a swing to the left - note the fascist RINOs and DINOs with Obama (the fascist) to cut out (sell short) the poor and downtrodden in these United States. The far-left and phony "right-wing" love war as it takes much-needed money from the private sector and only fuels more and more class warfare designed to do away with the middle class.Alex T. Jacob wrote:Can Tomas tell the 'truth' about anything? Can Tomas 'see' and 'discern' anything about his world? That is a question that is a wee bit up in the air. I would have to say that Tomas, by and large, is an original member of the Tea Party Movement.
What say you, Tomas? ;-)
That fucking Libya war was only started to get that country to bow to the IMF [International Monetary Fund] and have them join with a Central Bank to their liking. Ghadaffi is a hero in the little man's eyes. The Islamic Brotherhood (and the hob-goblin Jesuits) will be taking charge soon enough ditto for Egypt.
By the way, Alex .. Israel's northern border is looking pretty grim wouldn't you agree? An old Nostradamus propecy is being fulfilled ditto for an old DeSoto prophecy regarding the intentional flooding of the Mississippi River Basin. The food crop crop for this year is shot to shit.
You still headed for Israel? .. good luck with that. All your money over there will still (just) get you a ghetto flat on the lower east side of occupied East Jerusalem.
