The passage of time.

Post by HiturunkSan »

First of all, My writings here are anew, I'm here to tell you what I have gained knowledge-wise.
If you do not particularly agree with my writings, Then that is fine, Prove I am wrong...But not with your beliefs, Prove I am wrong with MY beliefs...That said, Let us continue to the knowledge I have to offer!
Time's passage is relevant to one's location and whether there is conciousness in that location, and one's corresponding location to that location, As said by Einstein. I believe Time can be traversed. But to understand traversing time, we have to understand playing time in it's current format.
Time is traversed DAILY, Through sleep, My belief is that every day is located in a different "reality" a different dimension if you will, So to traverse it should be easy, theoretically, Dreams are our "mid-point" to the different realities of each day, meaning our mind created a reality for our consciousness to occupy whilst we transfer to the next day, So, All one would have to do is create a mid-point between days, and supposedly transverse to any desired time, Bringing about my second theory on time, based on this one. Time can be changed, but it won't affect the corresponding days, RATHER, It will create a whole new, ALTERNATE time-line.
To close, My theories are open to be changed, we are all here to learn, for many of us possess infinite understanding, but finite knowledge, and so, collaboration is important, I do not intend this as an "attachment" or need for other people to gain knowledge, merely that it can increase the rate at which we do gain knowledge.
EDIT: I encourage you all to IM me on AIM, MSN, Yahoo IM, Or e-mail, for evidence, or anything else you desire, be it a conversation or an insult. My AIM is Grand921, MSN:Hiturunk@yahoo.com, Yahoo: Hiturunk, and you can GUESS my e-mail.

I wonder whether time isn't an area of space with one particle. or group of particles, interacting with the other. I think time defines the area of cause-and-effect, so time is a property of the interaction between things. If you didn't have cause-and-effect, you wouldn't have time, because any physical interaction would be meaningless.

I don't believe you traverse time in your sleep. When you sleep, pictures form in your mind, and these pictures are physical entities, they're made up of particles. So atoms are bouncing from other atoms in your brain, and so "time" is happening in your brain, but this time is no different to time anywhere else, where atoms constantly mingle with other atoms. In order to traverse time, you'd have to traverse laws of physics.

I like your idea that every day is located in a different reality. It's like saying: where did 1917 go? We wouldn't be here without it, so it has to be real, so where is it?

What I meant...Was that time is an illusion, there is no way to truly define it, so in reality, your definition is how I meant it defined. What I believe to happen is, your mind takes it's electricity and projects it into matter equivalent to that of a reality. It wouldn't bend the laws of physics to traverse time, or to even change it, Time has already happened and at the same time HASN'T happened.""Time's passage is relevant to one's location and whether there is consciousness in that location, and one's corresponding location to that location, As said by Einstein.""

I don’t see why time is illusionary. Our world-time is based on caesium atoms that periodically emit particles. All atoms are a natural timepiece because of this phenomenon. One second is about 9 billion vibrations of a caesium atom. So time is linked to atoms. If you don’t have atoms, you don’t have time. Time isn’t anything it itself, but it’s descriptive of actual physical interactions between particles.

How does your mind take electricity and project it somewhere else? If all things in the universe obey laws of physics, what forces propel your mind to do this?

You can define time. Time is the measure of atomic interaction in any area of space.

Reality is just the action of all the particles of the universe. Einstein was referring to the different rate of time, in different systems. In areas of greater gravity the frequency of a caesium atom is slower, but all of this falls within laws of physics. Time’s passage has nothing to do with consciousness.
