If Thought Created Consciousness

Post by jufa »

what name is given to that which creates thought?

Consciousness is like time. Every human being lives their life in their own time frame, giving substance and essence to that conscious timed world they live in only. Everything they absorb and recognize is unique, and what they interpret of that which they observe is their experience of exactness no one else can ever know of. People can only relate to things in their time frame of relativity relative to only themselves.

this is my first post, so go easy.
From my understanding, everybody uses the same senses, assuming all 5 of them are working properly. Thus experiencing the same thing. How that is interpreted is very subjective. This depends on past experiences and many other factors. What someone interprets as exciting might be boring to another, therefore forming two different thoughts.

Hi Mindful, Not looking to persuade you or anyone what I write is good or bad, or it is this way not that, for all mankind is the same, they look for the same things in different way, seeking the same thing according to their knowledge of indoctrination, hope for the same things irrespective of the road they travel, and as you stated:
everybody uses the same senses
And it is also as you have stated:
experiencing the same thing. How that is interpreted is very subjective.
Everything man does is based upon the learning and passing on of said learning to whoever, which means, to my understanding, the majority of man's living is built upon dead things of yeasterday, accepted or rejected according to their subjectiveness, and exist according to those teachings and learning, then expansion by man to adapt to the adance knowledge of living today.

So then, man lives from his conscious awareness of thoughts which he has no clue as to there origin, intent, purpose and reasoning. This to myself cause me to ask a second two questions: Should the name of thoughtt which created consciousness be labeled mind, whose mind is it?

Every man knows origin, intent, and purpose. It is the nature of this knowledge which some people understand better than others.

Should this be true as you have presented it, what then is the nature of the universe, its intent and purpose for making you aware of what I have stated above?

You have misunderstood my previous comment if you think it demands that I have a satisfactory answer to your questions. Whatever intent and purpose you see - that is intent and purpose. It's not mysterious at all.

What have I misunderstood about
Every man knows origin, intent, and purpose. It is the nature of this knowledge which some people understand better than others.
???

I asked you
Should this be true as you have presented it, what then is the nature of the universe, its intent and purpose for making you aware of what I have stated above?
for in answering the above question you have given logic and reason to that which is without logic and reason. Then it could be stated
It's not mysterious at all

until this occur, it is a mystery.

I think you might be unpleasantly surprised how few, from a non-memetic p.o.v, do.

Every man has a story, and therefore knows origin. Every man has goals, and therefore knows intent. Every man has his reasons, and therefore knows purpose.

Sure I have a story. But do I know how things actually happened? Quinn addresses this in his book. To paraphrase: there is no difference whatsoever between appearances and reality. My reality is the only relevant reality. My reason for life is the reason for life.

That's not to say I have an answer for everything. Not all of my knowledge fits together. Much of it is blatantly contradictory. I'm okay with this, because I don't believe in a perfect state of knowledge or that there is one way which is the way things actually are. I prefer hypocrisy to the elaborate intellectual ruse in which most people engage.

All this would be true if you can tell us the reason for you. Can you?
