Question to all forum members.
How would any of you create a detailed personality profile that would adequately describe a person’s psychological strengthens and weaknesses through the contemporary context of enlightenment? And ultimately capture a subject's unique character through the values of wisdom?
how to create an updated personality profile for the times.

Re: how to create an updated personality profile for the times.
Because there are personality tests out there that will test your mind, and tell you if you are more introvert or extrovert, or amiable, and so on. However, many of these attributes are very relative. For instance: I can be an introvert among dullards, but a extrovert among thinkers. I'm basically wondering if there exists a personality test that measures intellectual ability, but also describes the psychological disorders and weaknesses that hamper or prevent ones potential from fully being realized. Any one know of any psychologists who have attempted to create such a profile or test?

Ryan, although I don't think there's a complete "wise" test around and you might have to construct one yourself, there's some work done in the field of modeling personalities. The wisest attempt in my view was the model outlined by Kazimierz Dąbrowski: positive disintegration. Although this overlaps a bit with the research into "giftedness" and "high IQ" it's ultimately something quite different from that. One attempt that uses a bit of this model can be found here, even if it's just a simple questionnaire. Many items overlap the 'genius' definition as used on this forum like "entelechy", "search for truth", "perfectionism" and "autonomous".
Once upon a time I found enneagrams useful too, popularized by Gurdjieff. It lacks a real development model like in Dabrowski's work but it's a place to start and does a lot of categorizing for those looking for that, going beyond just one category with its various "wings".

thanks Diebert, those are the types of links I was looking for. Other suggestions are also welcome.
Just to expand, I'm basically interested in seeing whats out there for a test/questionnaire and even a report that follows that sums up the subject as a whole. It would test for logic or emotionalism, mental blocks, neurological disorders, negative behavioral habits, masculine and feminine traits, and so on.
Btw, I was intrigued by Dąbrowski's idea of developmental potential, and I wonder if he created any tests to measure it.
Because to be conscious, not only do you need to be an intellectual, but you need the right character. And there are certain factors that stifle intellectual ability, and certain factors that weaken ones character from the outset, and that is what the test should examine and analyze.
