I think it's plural, "The things in life".

i jave excellent speakers/system @ home !!!

i've really been out of the music scene for a long time....that's why i gravitate to the past (i guess). my favorite sound is silence now...But when i do listen to music i CRANK IT UP ...then that buzzing shit starts (tininitus?)...a constant senenade of crickets....lol...i love crickets...one time i got a bunch of them (about 20) and kept them in my house until they drove me crazy...then let them go...lol....

Mesmerising.
ta, Laird. Music that moves can mean many things . . . .
. . . .
I wanted to say: why the long face?
sparrow, perch and play songs of long face
burro, buck and bray songs of long face!
sing: I will swallow your sadness and eat your cold clay
just to lift your long face

and though it may be madness, I will take to the grave
your precious longface
and though our bones they may break, and our souls separate
- why the long face?
and though our bodies recoil from the grip of the soil
- why the long face?
. . . .

I can only dream. :-) But Pye speaks for me: no long face here, just an abiding appreciation of the depth and poignancy of the music and of Joanna's voice.

Kunga,

Yeah, I like it too. I especially like the ones with heavy drums and bass, like the last one you picked...compelling.
