I encountered hundreds references about him.
Shoher chose to remain a pen name to circumvent Israel's government control, Shoher wrote unusual points on Israeli doings.
Who is that Jewish writer Shoher?
Who is Israeli author Obadiah Shoher?
Finally, I've looked through his website. Considerably unusual. Take, for instance the chapter http://www.samsonblinded.com/blog/?p=200 . One can see all the mix there, starting at Judaism to antiterrorism and Arab-Israeli affairs, but quite an provocative perspective. I can see now why both right and the left together are angry at him. A part of the stuff Shoher declares is reasonable, some is not such, and some just mustn't be declared even though practiced. Interesting.
