I know, I saw that too, I think it has something to do with how our brains process visual images. The most famous illusion might have something to do with that.(Link)
It's just a ride.

It is optical illusion as the detail in the pictures is set up so that depends what are you paying attention to.. the overall picture or the detail.
Makes sense. I was looking at the whole silhouette - big picture. And I hate mathematical logic - Right brained it is!

Are you left-brained or right-brained?

See the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

Take the test:

.

Hey kids:

I'd like to thank everybody who responded to this.

I was hit by RPG shrapnel when I was in VietNam, lost the sight in left eye, hearing in left ear, two ribs & left lung plus the left kidney. In todays "high tech" battlefield medical procedures I'd have a good amount of the use of lung and kidney. Enough of the sob story :-(

I waited and read all the responses before sitting down and seeing what would be in my case... as only have the right eye. B-McGilly was the most helpful right off the bat. Thanks! Looked off to the right and eventually approached from the left to the image, got it to go straightaway - both ways.

Then studied all the other of your-all responses.

ps- Peace.

Yeah, I guess that test makes me more right-brained. I'm not sure if this is another trick or not, but I can't see it going counter-clockwise, instead it seems to slowdown for a few revolutions, then speedup back up for the next few. Weird.

Oh....I saw it go counterclockwise, nice!:D (...the shadow, right?)
