LOL... there is no such thing as a rape where you are in control.

Seriously, holy blueberry bat shit. What planet are some of you guys from?
You see the distinction though? Woman are submissive, guys dominate. It would be demeaning for most guys to be raped as in taken control over. If they were simply somehow forced to have sex, but they were in control of it, it would be a different story.

This problem doesn't arise for women who derive pleasure out of submitting usually.

Skipair,
Because once you've cracked the code to one [woman], you've cracked the code to them all. Once you figure it out, you can SEE her, and every woman knows what it feels like to be SEEN in this way. They know who knows.
Oops, my bad again. I forgot the Quinnologist doctrine. All women are exactly the same. LOL.
As I mentioned in a previous post, the trump card for me is if it starts out consensual. If it turns into highly charged (rape-like) sex, then consent basically goes out the window. Finally she's free to lose herself and scream, "God you make me feel so SEXY!!!!!!!! I LOOOOVE YOU".
Hahahaha!!!!!!! Jesus, dude. Exactly how much Dungeons & Dragons have you played in your lifetime? I've played quite a bit myself, and even I am taken aback by the utter clueless uber-nerdiness of this statement. Even being having been bullied as a "nerd" myself can't dissuade me from pointing and laughing at this gem. LOL.
That's the thing. It doesn't matter what they're supposed to be, it matters what they are. And what we are are creatures that sometimes reproduce through rape. It's been happening for millions of years, and while we can personally decide it is in conflict with our values (no shit), Nature still might give that woman an orgasm to increase the chance of conception (likely the orgasm's purpose).
Okay, I'm tired of this nonsense, so just go ahead and prove it. Show statistics indicating that such a thing happens with any regularity. I want to see evidence of women who "enjoy" rape in significant numbers - and not fantasy or role-play rape, but actual rape of the violent, criminal, non-consenting kind.

I'll be waiting with little blueberry bells on.

Skipair has.
I have never claimed universality that every woman gets pleasure from rape. In fact I've never even stated definitively that it happens, but I can see how it might. I have claimed universality on her need to be 100% submissive to maximize sexual experience.

Dan, I thought of a type of woman who might enjoy rape on some level: the type of woman who enjoys being battered by her husband or b/f. But that woman is very emotionally disturbed, and is not at all common. Remember that the post that started all this was stating rape enjoyment, at least on some level, as universal.

Every man and woman are the same in that there is a dick that goes into a vagina. And every man and woman are the same in that what is ultimately arousing is that the dick is the one fucking the vagina. Unfortunately, modern feminist society has you thinking that you're the one with the vagina. And you don't even know it!!!

Suit yourself, but the jokes on you. It's funny, you actually think I'm making this shit up, when in reality I'm giving you the key to have whatever women you want, or even just to make your own girlfriend happier than she would ever imagine in her wildest dreams. I'm not having this discussion because I like to argue, or because I have firmly rooted beliefs that I feel I need to back up. I'm talking to you because I see you as a fellow brother, and I'm trying to tell you something. I'm trying to help you. At least consider that there is a small chance that what I say might be true. It's good to listen to all views.

Are you kidding?

Not to be rude, but I'm at a loss to explain how you are asking this question. How could we not see rape as more serious than "common assaults?" It's a far more serious crime for reasons that ought to be glaringly obvious - and this includes rape against men, BTW.
No, it's not glaringly obvious. Explain the differences. (I'm going somewhere with this).

Why does this distinction exist do you think?
Because we have feelings, which are delusional. I hope you don't have feelings Dan, or you are going down a notch on my sage-o-meter.

A good question might be -- why do we "feel" wrong to rape a creature that lacks consciousness. Women basically ask for it the way they dress anyways -- cause and effect. ;) If the Totality causes me to rape someone, oh well?

Um... LOL. I think not. In fact, I think that when she reads this, she's going to be half horrified and half laughing her ass off.

I appreciate your concern, but it's not for me. We have very different perspectives on this issue.
From the beginning I've said I don't know what the truth is in this regard. But unlike you, I'm willing to consider all possibilities.
You have no idea whether this assertion is true. In reality, intellectual honesty is an obsession with me, so you can rest assured that I've given your position fair consideration. Very likely more consideration than any other opponent will ever give it. I make it my business to do that in all areas of discourse - but it doesn't mean I accept every perspective I consider. I have examined your position on this matter and rejected it.

Just to save you some time, since human nature dictates that you cannot and/or will not consider that your views are ridiculous, your only possible rebuttal here is that I have rejected your position based on whatever irrational psychological motivations you can expediently attribute to me. The most likely candidate, based on past experience, is an "attachment to women," and/or that I have been indoctrinated by society's feminism, etc. Let's just go with that, deal?

You know, it would save me a lot of time just to have these discussions with myself and provide all the predictable replies in a more efficient manner. :)

Dan,

I'd play along, except I don't really know how to state the obvious at any length. A punch in the nose is much less serious than rape simply because the degree of physical and psychological invasiveness is far less. It's like the difference between skinning one's elbow and triple bypass surgery.

Yes, and that claim has been almost universally denied. So, I think we can move on from it to more interesting aspects of the general question of the psychology and enjoyment of dominance/submission dynamics and whether they do us spiritual harm in and of themselves.

Ok, I probably should have not said "common" assault to make my point. I was thinking of something more serious than a punch in the nose. Let's change it to moderately serious assault. Now, tell me the difference, especially in terms of the aforementioned "psychological evasiveness". Don't try to second guess where I'm headed, just say what comes to mind.

I've never met a woman who has "enjoyed" being raped, on any level, any scale of measurement. None!

I'm on a call-24/7/365 list, here in California, counselled girls, women, boys, men... of forced-sexual assaults, in all imaginable parameters -- including people forced to have "sex" with animals, broomsticks, etc. in every imaginable way. I don't believe it when i awaken after a sleep pattern.

Ride with cops, Chips, sheriffs dept, seen kids, adults, bound with duct tape head to toe, eyes gouged out, ears cut off, beaten beyond recognition, hands cut off, burned-branded. Never get used to it.

Wives never asked for husbands to be brutal till death do us part.

One thing is for sure, that male rape is just as bad and traumatic as female rape. In our jails, it is very common.

Dan, answer this question. If you had to choose your way of torture, would you prefer to get beat up by a big dude, or to be violently raped in the arse by the same?

Your GF isn't interested in mindblowing, wall-shaking sex? I find that hard to believe. I find it hard to believe you're not interested either.
Skip: From the beginning I've said I don't know what the truth is in this regard. But unlike you, I'm willing to consider all possibilities.

Uni: You have no idea whether this assertion is true.
Well, you did say, "Yes, some women may find the idea of being overpowered by a man exciting as a fantasy or in a controlled situation of her own choosing. However, this does not mean they derive any enjoyment from being forcibly violated in reality, in a situation they did not choose." In this you are not considering the possibility that 1%, 5%, 80%, (who knows?!) of women do infact get some pleasure from a rape.
Uni: Just to save you some time, since human nature dictates that you cannot and/or will not consider that your views are ridiculous, your only possible rebuttal here is that I have rejected your position based on whatever irrational psychological motivations you can expediently attribute to me. The most likely candidate, based on past experience, is an "attachment to women," and/or that I have been indoctrinated by society's feminism, etc. Let's just go with that, deal?
No, the real reason is that almost no one figures it out, for whatever reason. You basically hold the overwhelmingly common view about the nature of women. So did I for most of my life. But when have you known the overwhelmingly common view to be correct?

Let me tell you a quick story, and then I'll be off. Once upon a time there was a boy named Skipair. Like most boys he was taught to treat women well above all else. So I did. I had some girlfriends, we had a good times. One summer, I was in a long distance relationship with a particularly smart girl whom I was very in love with. But the relationship started getting very tumultuous, and I could start to sense my self control leaving me. She would start arguments and be bitchy in general, but I was nice. She would tell me to do things and I would do it.

One day, she was being extra irrational and ridiculous, and I got mad. Soon after we had sex, and I starrted to fuck her harder than I normally did. It felt weird at first, "should I be doing this?". Afterwards, she said she didn't like it. But the way she said it made me think she was lying. Turns out I was right. Fight, fight, fight, sex, sex, sex. Each time I would let myself go a little further and take more control, and each time she would get more and more wet, more and more submissive, and Loud! This kept up, and spilled into our relationship, and COMPLETELY changed it. The truth about women had dawned on me, and boy could she tell.

We would have "fight club sex", with screams you could hear well outside the apartment. People would stop on the sidewalk and yell up at us. I never did use a yellow rubber glove though - wtf that for? It was complete, unadulterated animal fucking. I was a god on campus and she was a queen supreme, and the rest is history.

So, you're right. I could just be a dungeons and dragons nerd who has nothing better to do than make all this shit up.

Or, I could be right. And you could be missing out BIG TIME. I'm not too interested in the ladies anymore, but I see you are.

*shrug* Gnight.

Tomas,
It's plain some of these people have not done a lick of work their entire lives. Sad. When times get really tough (and i've see it overseas many places over the years) the gov't will go after the welfare (wannabe) bums first.
Nice of you to wedge that in there. Did you notice that the person speaking out loudest and longest against the misogynistic nonsense on this thread is a "welfare bum?"

The rest of your post was on-target, as far as I'm concerned. Why you felt it necessary to take that final swipe is beyond me, since besides being inaccurate, I have no idea how it could even be relevant.

Skipair,

I'm simply not going to address discourse on that sort of explicit level. Thanks for your perspective, though. I do want to respond to one specific comment:
No, the real reason is that almost no one figures it out, for whatever reason. You basically hold the overwhelmingly common view about the nature of women. So did I for most of my life. But when have you known the overwhelmingly common view to be correct?
The overwhelmingly common view is often correct. Everyone knows it is a bad idea to place one's hand on a hot stove or give any response to the question "does this make me look fat?" The view that "conventional wisdom is always wrong" is just as myopic and silly as the view that it is always right. We all know that the latter view is that of mindless conformists, but what seems less well-understood in certain intellectual circles is that the former view is the province of emo 16 year olds bitterly composing poetry in their fashionable suburban bedrooms.

A premise is reasonable or unreasonable depending on its relationship to facts, evidence, logic, and rationality. Those are the only criteria that matter, and they show that reasonable views cover the spectrum from overwhelmingly common ones to unusual ones that are far ahead of their time. In no case is validity established or refuted by the number of adherents. It makes no more sense to reject something because everybody believes it than it does to reject it for the opposite reason.

Can't I be force-fed beer instead? Anyway, my choice would be based on the projected level of physical damage to me. If I thought being arse-raped would cause me less damage I would choose that. I've been beaten to a state of unrecognizability before; it's no fun. Plus I'm not as psychologically obsessed with my sexuality as most people.

In my view, there's a lot wrong with this thread, primarily related to the idea that it contains people saying outlandishly stupid and/or insane things. Am I not allowed to express that opinion?

Nevermind, I'm done anyway. I feel satisfied that the call of duty has been answered in regard to this one.
