Hello Geniuses,
Its my first post on this forum and really took time to look at the introductory statement made by Dan, so I hope this post will arouse some users on this forum and inspire you to post on this thread.
I also want to precise that I'm not promoting anything but just listing some experiences I had with ''supplements'' or ''specials activities''.
I just started university and I'm aiming to achieve superiors results in school and at work. After reading the book the 4hour-Body by Tim Ferris I came up with the idea of self experimenting for faster learning and better understanding of reality.
Made some research online and bought some natural supplements. I try to be careful with what I consume but my goal is to achieve results faster. So when I made some research I found this forum and I was wandering if some of you tried some stuff that gave you tangible results like:
Better memory
Faster learning
Better Focus
Better sleep
Higher Alertness
Better sensory experience
etc
Please share if you have some nootropic or very low side effects products that you tried and gave you some results.
Be precise if you can, like dosage, timing, side effects and expected results.

Sounds like you have come to the wrong place. I'm not convinced i'm permitted to recommend drugs, mabey caffeine?
Passion will take you there, make sure your studying a course suitble for you.
As for the experiment, how would you measure yourself, surely you see this is impossible?

Yeah its always hard to be precise about our own judgement or mental faculty but I try to be rational with results. Ei: Speed for learning a new language (or medium complexity matters), concentration during an exam, sleep time, ability to memorize longer chain of thought, etc.
The reason why I came to this forum, is that most of the geniuses or very high cognitive individuals I met in my life always shared the same traits. They experimented with their environment all the time. They always tried to bend the ''logic rule'' and seek new answers with cleaver creativity and non common activities.
What I tested so far : Ginkgo Biloba, Valerian, Melatonin, Ginseng, Omega 3, Lecithin.
What I intend to test in a near future: L-Carnitine, L-Deprenyl, HTP-5, Piracetam.
Of course not all at the same time, I'm very careful with mixing.

Hemp oil seems a lot safer to consume since the THC level is only 1%Tomas wrote:Depending where you live on this earth, the best of best is hemp leaves and hemp oil, both omega 6.

You mean the supplements I listed above? if so yes, I wanted to post some links about them but I'm new so I'm not allowed, but you can make your own research online.mental vagrant wrote:Do you know what any of these things are/are for?

No drug or supplement will help you learn faster. A consistent healthy lifestyle is your answer. Keeping your physical being healthy and fit. The brain is an organ in your body. All your organs are affected by the level of efficiency of the body. Exercise, eat well, and get adequate rest.
A person who wants to exceed natural athletes can take various drugs to artificially boost the system (steroids etc.). The mind / thinking is more complicated, and there are no magic pills for this.
I can't go any further on that. Good luck.
