804, can you please clarify: are you a psychiatrist? Or are you saying rather that you've studied it (informally or formally, please clarify) but are not actually qualified as a psychiatrist?804 wrote:I mean, it's not like you're arguing yourself to someone dedicating their life to psychiatry or anything.

Foresta: When classes start up again, I'll let you know.
guest: I've been studying psychiatry since I was very young and am currently in my fourth year of schooling. I do plan on becoming a clinical psychologist or, at the very least, a counselor. By no means am I an expert, but it is something that I know quite a lot about through both formal and informal means (college courses, shadowing, self-teaching, etc).

Foresta:
I'm a psychotherapist with 22yrs experience and a practicioner of "radiccal honesty" since '94.
If you look up radical honesty you will mostly see references to Brad Blanton's work including his book, "How to Transform Your Life By Telling the Truth."
In my practice, I tell the truth at all cost, whether it "hurts feelings" or not. Truth is valued above the social protocol of being "polite", sparing feelings and telling "little white lies."
But such 'brutal honesty" doesn't mean one must be venting anger, as you clearly were above. Without such angry attachment (to your resentment) you could have just asked the "bitches" how they liked being awakened by such noise, like that to which they inconsiderately subjected you the night before.
Hi Foresta,We all got into a heated argument
I called these women inconsiderate and disrespectful bitches amongst other things...

Without the use of your education, lets consider your answer
in layman's terms.
What do you personally 'think' makes up for a 'thought disorder'?
Please supply your answer in the form of a sentence stating a thought disorder,
what you believe makes up as a thought disorder, and not just an explanation of what a thought disorder is, but an actual thought disorder in action.
Do you think you could produce for me an actual thought disorder and be truthful about it?
I doubt anyone could present a real live 'thought disorder' unless they were insane or seriously deluded, or seriously deranged with drugs, then it would seem to be obvious now wouldn't it.
The words I'll kill you you bastard, are only words, do you think these words could be thought up as a 'thought disorder' or would you consider a subjects observed behaviour for a period of time, then decide if these words are a thought disorder?
Do you believe drugs that psyches prescribe can actually mask over their clients emotions, leaving them feeling nothing at all, like a zombie. They feel nothing, no conscience, no feelings of anger, no feelings of elation, no feelings of love, no feelings about what counts in life. These people say they could kill someone and feel nothing about doing so.
The medical field lables people, dopes them up with their drugs, creates mental patients and murderers, they should be responsible for drugging their patients who go on insane rampants, such as the fellow who recently beheaded a bus traveller on a greyhound bus in Canada.
Behind the killer the authorities will likely find a prescription drug.

A<>A is a thought disorder (consciousness denying itself / anti-memory).

"consciousness denying itself"
A foolish denial, a disturbed mind, deranged, deluded
Makes absolute sense--Thank you
It denys it's own intuitiveness, what a concept!
It could never know rationality then, it would never know sensibility

Re: Honesty Confused with Meaness
You're welcome. It is literally an insane mind.
Many people have an experience, then say, "Maybe it wasn't what I thought it was". They don't realise that what it appeared to be, had to be, in order to say that.

So a person who has experienced a bout of insanity, would they realize it while they are experiencing insanity?
