The Multi-Dimensional Paradigm

Post by Searle88 »

Dear All,

I believe we are evolving towards a more advanced way of understanding psychic, and spiritual dimensions. See my project.

In one of your essays on Reality you say:
Reality by its very nature is inconceivable and indescribable.
How can you say this if you don't know what Reality is? What makes Reality inconceivable and indescribable? Its infinitude?

Dear All,

How do you know that I have not experienced the infinite, and inconceivable nature of Absolute Reality?? Personally, I believe that we have all experienced It but have no memory of It. If one assumes rightly, or wrongly that we descended from the higher worlds to the lowest world of creation (ie the material one) then we must have had some kind of experience of It aeons ago in some very distant incarnation......Makes you think does it not!!????

This a big, and highly esoteric subject!!

I dont know. Cyberspace is monodimensional, so I have no way of knowing what other dimensions these messages come from, or go to. You see 'absolute reality'? I dont have a problem with it. should I? Is there a reason I should care?

In my world, there are mental institutions with bodies that I have seen that not only dont have any memory of any past life, they dont even remember this morning. Genuine Boddhisattvahs, they only live in the now.

It must be remembered that my last email entry is largely philosophical in nature. I do not experience any manifestation of so-called Absolute Reality. However, I do become aware of higher energies of higher conciousness surrounding me. I am especially sensitive to this during the evenings.

Ofcourse, there is probably no such thing as Absolute Realilty because there are infinite higher levels of It stretching out ad inifinitum......................................

Robert, could you please elaborate on your experiences? I mean as descriptive as possible.

i read that Peer Gynt peeled away the top layer of reality like an onion, to see another layer beneath. And so he persevered, down thru the physical surface to the economic, emotional, intellectual, spiritual layers, and so on all the way down to the core.

Which he saw was empty.

Perhaps you are pagan? Christian religion is based on the 7 day solar cycle with its rituals in daytime, but pagan religions were lunar, with its rituals starting at sundown. The former was based on sacred text, examined carefully in the broad light of day to extract the least grain of truth. The latter was based on the direct experience of being as nite gathered around you, to gather the whole truth all at once.

I could eleborate on these experiences but they are best experienced for oneself. Any attempted description can never really capture it........

I am not pagan but I respect that tradition with its close kinship with the natural world.

I agree. On the other hand, the Roman Legions of old were so successful because of the broadsword and the techniques employed in using it. It was a short, roughly two foot blade which was thrust, not swung. When deployed from a phalanx formation, and with the front line of soldiers regularly rotated with fresh troops from behind, the effect was devastating on such foes as the Gauls, who suffered being hemmed in and getting arm weary with their larger weapons and more individualistic, slashing style. This simple thing was enuf to gain and maintain an Empire for hundreds of years.

We have eyes to see, ears to hear, and we have vocal chords. When you make a sound with your vocal chords, the sound does magically travel through the air to another person. It travels along invisibly. To transmit anything without sound, would require one of the other waves available to us. There is a wave that comes from our eyes, to observe the environment. It does send a signal to electrons, and it is invisible. I don't know if we ever utilise this wave for anything other than observing, but it does seem possible that you could acheive this with electronic equipment. So therefore we are a step closer to realising ESP, but I doubt if it happens with humans naturally.

R.Searle,

It seems to me that you are overvaluing the importance of mystical experiences. Although I do agree that one can become very sensitive in the evenings, and mystical states can result, I question the worth of such experiences being studied mathematically to create theories from them. For instance: A few scientists have already created theories about quantum consciousness fields, but more often than not these theories are abused by new agey groups and postmodern groups as a means to give them another body of knowledge to cling onto, preventing any relationship to reality emerging.

A theory is just fragmented relative knowledge, and this type of knowledge should not be believed in.

The followers of mystical experience dont try to use weapons to believe like they do. They dont have genocidal wars, dont have inquisitions, and dont create suicide bombers. Note, that when the Buddhist monks in Vietnam objected to American troops in their country, they cleared an area in the middle of the street to make sure that nobody else was harmed when they immolated themselves.

Which stands in stark contrast to using a bomb on a school bus. The followers of mytsical experience wont be trying to make nukes, invent deadly plagues, or use WMD. All this, and more, is done by the followers of the literal texts that have alpha male tyrants as gods.

Even if you think it is all bullshit, promoting the mystical experience improves your chances of being able to think as you will, and live as you will.
