What an exotic opinion. Which men do you think are making these immense works of art at night, weaving the grains like baskets in the night, and sometimes even bending and reforming the nodes as they do this, maybe a worldwide secret cult of UFO worshipers with extraterrestrial powers?I am of the opinion that the current crop circles are man made to be observed by the ufos,

Yes, carl. I belive technology is out there that is in human hands that creates these giant drawings in our time.Carl G wrote:hsandman wrote:

This is the old way of doing them.. I think it's a cult, religion, attempt a communication, etc. ie. Organised movement.

This is on of the theories I had on how the toy does it, with air vortex, probably based on Victor Schaubergers design. Very cool link Tomas! :-DTomas wrote:.

I thought it more probable something not so advanced, a machine based on air cushion, similar to hovercraft, but this is way better! Explains why there are no visible tracks to and fro the circles.

Re: What do you make of crop circles?
Crop circles are time measure markers.
Re: What do you make of crop circles?
I saw a story posted in a forum about the apparent 6th astronaut to come forward and speak openly about the existence of aliens. He says they are real, and the government has been keeping a tight lid on the issue for 60+ years.Pincho Paxton wrote:The crop circles are made by aliens, because they contain quantum physics examples that currently I am the only person that understands them. They totally scare me, because the warnings hidden inside them are extremely frightening. There is a situation happening on Earth that you are better off not knowing about. Believe me, and don't try to find out about them. You will not be happy.
I wonder how high a normal person would have to rise through the military or government ranks before he or she could confirm (to himself or herself alone) that piece of information.
I would imagine that the higher you rose, the more of the picture would be made clear. But no matter what level you were at, there would probably always remain dark areas that you didn't really have a clue about. Like you might know there's a ship that crashed from space, but you don't know what kind of technology was found or salvaged, or whether the ship's pilots or inhabitants were found.
It would be pretty lame if the reason we're being kept in the dark is because if we all knew the truth, we'd no longer see the point in living.

No you aren't. They are dualistic in design, contains either a positive or negative 'message' depending on your level of consciousness.Pincho Paxton wrote:The crop circles are made by aliens, because they contain quantum physics examples that currently I am the only person that understands them.

Re: What do you make of crop circles?
This old thread is back? Haven't posted on here for years. I don't really bother with crop circles anymore. I didn't like the way turned out for me. Probably too many coincidences in them that I read in to. Anyway, my original concern was to do with the magnetic polarity of Earth switching in a few years. I read in the crop circles that this allows the sun to touch the Earth surface for a few minutes, and that the way to prevent it was to circle the Earth with ships, and create some sort of gas clouds. It sounds strange. But the clues were in the images, and the Quantum Physics were to do with the combination of gasses and the Aether. So make of it what you like.
Re: What do you make of crop circles?
It is related to earths magnetic field.
The circles are formed by magnetic forces of the earth, bending, (not breaking) the plants. Earth is more intelligent than the beings on the surface, communicates via symbols, then physical action, hurricane etc.

That was a really crappy piece, Robert. No scientific case was made, just pure speculation on the part of the skeptics.Robert wrote:The Skeptics' Guide 5X5, Crop Circles.

Re: What do you make of crop circles?
Perhaps you would like to rephrase, as the formation of crop circles is not in question; they have obviously been formed.Robert wrote:Is it really necessary to make a scientific case against the formation of crop circles?Carl G wrote:That was a really crappy piece, Robert. You may mean that skeptics need not question the source of the formations (i.e. in their opinion they can only be man-made via boards and string). I think that would be a sadly naive and distinctly non-scientific stance for anyone to take, lacking definite proofs.
Even if you believe the answers are obvious I don't see the value of linking us to the nose-thumbing claptrap of those particular skeptics pretending to make a reasoned case. They're laughable.
Re: What do you make of crop circles?
Interesting. Some weird things about crop circles are sometimes, after the circle is made, the crop will become dehydrated. Yet, throughout the process, the crop is unharmed. Also the crop will swirl in different directions. Besides that, sometimes after the circle is made and the farmer tries to drive through it, they sometimes experience equipment malfunctions! Plus sometimes the farmer will find chalk and water under the effected crop.Robert wrote:The Skeptics' Guide 5X5, Crop Circles.

What's laughable is thinking that you need to make a reasoned scientific case against the source of the formations as anything other than being made by flesh and blood living humans.Carl G wrote:Perhaps you would like to rephrase, as the formation of crop circles is not in question; they have obviously been formed.Robert wrote:Is it really necessary to make a scientific case against the formation of crop circles?Carl G wrote:That was a really crappy piece, Robert. Re: What do you make of crop circles?
Robert, you have either not studied the phenomenon of crop formations or you are not of a scientific mind. There are enough inconsistencies with the simple board and string method as explaining all cases to warrant serious inquiry, which is ongoing and by no means has reached conclusion. For starters some the complex and very large designs, formed overnight and often with no moonlight, show no stakes or footprints, nor for that matter any asymmetry of any kind (have YOU ever tried to lay out lines for any construction, in daylight?). No crews have been detected during the process nor crew vehicles parked by the road, so far as I know, in all the years, and very few people involved in ANY of this clandestine night work have come forward over the years or groups been revealed. And then there is the issue of elongated nodes, interwoven stalks, and magnetic readings. In short there is no reason to assume anything about the method or makers involved in some of the formations. This is why your hypothesis, which seems no more than an assumption, is naive. What's laughable is thinking that you need to make a reasoned scientific case against the source of the formations as anything other than being made by flesh and blood living humans.

What's laughable, (or perhaps pitiful) is that you think flesh and blood humans are somehow separate from the earth in any way.Robert wrote:What's laughable is thinking that you need to make a reasoned scientific case against the source of the formations as anything other than being made by flesh and blood living humans.

Re: What do you make of crop circles?
Hi,
Crop Circles are made by spherical robotic drone craft, utilizing a electromagnetic propulsion. (See Townseed Brown)
The crop is heated at the node by programmed microwave pulses, while the craft executes near ground level flight pattern.
The crafts are communication and observation devices sent by our neighboring civilization 10-15 light years from Earth.
The crop circles are relaying fractal mathematics and physics (final physics, and some other stuff...) in the form of fractal geometry to civilization capable of agriculture and aerial flight.

It's skepulation, I tell you, pure skeputation!
For the newbies, the spelling and exuberance are an example of my sense of humor.
This is sad, that I have to footnote my humor for more people to understand it;
not quite as sad as this thread, but close.
Re: What do you make of crop circles?
What chiefly do you see as sad about this thread, Elizabeth? I'm curious.
I see Dan's goofy scoffing as somewhat sad, seeing how he sees himself as a genius and all.

I see my goofy scoffing as entirely appropriate, frankly. Aliens giving us messages? Honestly, piss off with that nonsense.
