National equality

Post by meganabma »

I have had many people come up to me and ask me about national equality, and I don't know what to say. Yeah sure I wish there was national equality, but there could never be total national equality, there would still be problems between the rich and poor, men and women, and everything else around us. It seems like people aren't happy unless they're fighting, or complaining about something.

The history of matriarchy is obscure. But the Mosou of SW China are still matriarchic, and the way they live looks a lot like the Tocharians of the ancient Silk Road that existed in NW China for millennia until over run by the Mongols. The matriarchic Tocharians founded and ran a set of independent city states beyond the Jade Gate and the hegemony of the China in the various oases of the Taklamakhan desert.

The cold, dry, alkaline soils freeze dried the bodies and made natural mummies, many of which are no in Chinese museums. There are *NO* lavish graves of kings or wariors. There are no graves of the poor either. Everyone is well dressed and middle class.

The Pre-eminent city, Kucha, didnt have any slums. It was run by a line of Gautamid queens. The queen didnt need a harem, so she didnt need a palace to keep them in, nor did she need a castle to protect the palace. So, she didnt need to tax the shit out of everyone to pay for it all.

Because Kucha was in business, there are the shrines of 22 religions to meet the needs of travelers. Before the Mongol invasions, going well back into the first millennium, Kucha was like a college town with scholars in Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Manichean, Zoroastrianism, and more obscure religions.

Both Chinese and Tocharian documents reveal the mutual respect these Aryans and Chinese had for each other, and there are Chinese buried in Kuchan graves wearing Western clothes with the same high quality grave goods.

There's no evidence that the Tocharian city states warred with each other. They were egalitarian and peaceful, but being in business, also rich.

The history is obscure, but is there to be looked at. Then too, there's the Mosou of SW China. They dont have rich and poor. Everyone lives in communal houses owned by the grandmothers. who handle the childcare while the women work. The rape and sexual abuse rate: *zero*.

Several hundred miles north, the cold, dry, alkaline soils of the Tocharian graveyards made natural mummies. some thousands of years old. There are no lavish graves of kings or warriors, nor of impoverished slaves. They are *all* well dressed middle class. Only in this case, dressed in the same western clothes with the same high quality gravegoods, there are Chinese bodies as well. Both economic equality and racial equality. The most lavish graves are women.

One was in a casket made a couple feet longer so she could wear her hat. Tall, black, conical, with a flat brim, that'd work in any halloween costume. The Tocharians were ruled by witches. So, gender equality as well. What else do you need?

Would you say it would consist of not treating people badly for unfair reasons? i.e. the absence of improper forms of discrimination?
