Exodus—the Worldwide, 21st Century Version
Exodus—the Worldwide, 21st Century Version
The dramatic story of the exodus from Egypt is much more than a milestone on the Hebrew calendar. According to Kabbalah, it describes the liberation from egoism, and the whole of humanity is about to experience it
All the worlds (this world included) are states that reside within us. We will find them nowhere outside us. In other words, it is not we who are inside the worlds, but the worlds that are inside us. Outside us there is only the Creator, the Upper Light.
People in our world are convinced that they are inside some kind of existence, a reality that was created before we came inside it. But this is an illusion. There is nothing outside us but the Light of the Creator. That Light affects our senses in such a way that we feel it as solid, liquid, or gas, as vegetative or as animate. Everything we can imagine and can see around us is built inside our own senses, making us feel as though everything exists outside us. But the truth is that there is nothing outside, only the Creator.
This world is the lowest point that a Kabbalist attains. It is the total opposite of the Creator and is termed, “the exile in Egypt.” The natural power that works on us in this state, the power of our egoistic nature, doesn’t allow us to advance anywhere except to care for ourselves. This is called “the state of Pharaoh.”
Our egoism doesn’t let us feel the sublime and perfect state. It is egoism, man’s inner and vicious force called “Pharaoh,” that the Torah speaks of at length, whereas the force that frees one of that state is called “Moses.” Pharaoh, Moses and everything that is written about the exodus describe spiritual states and emotions.
Our current state is the lowest possible. It is a state of absolute slumber and even unconsciousness. We have no sensation whatsoever of who or where we are. It is even a lower state than “this world,” since defining our state as “this world” implies that we are already aware that there is another world. It is so low that in it, we cannot feel any spirituality.
The Torah is not a historic epic, though there is a correlation between the text and human history. But this is only because the construction of the worlds is based on the same principle: everything that happens in one spiritual world is reflected in its adjacent lower world, down to our own.
Everything that humankind will have to go through during its ascent through the worlds must be felt by each and every individual in each of the worlds, especially our own.
The exodus from Egypt—the exodus from egoism—still awaits us all. And in the 21st century, we are closer than ever before to making this transition—from egoism to a humanity of bestowal and love. Once we begin this transition, we’ll start experiencing our connection to the spiritual, eternal level of reality, which is only felt when we detach from our egos, or "come out of Egypt." The wisdom of Kabbalah explains that just by starting to think in this direction, we hasten our course of development and save ourselves a lot of suffering, since our thoughts become similar to the inclusive plan of Creation.

Indeed :-)
Universal consciousness is waking up and many are becoming aware that they are in an illusion. The illusion that this world, perceived dimension dictates is that as you say of an ego born desire from secumbing to materialistic and societies dictates.
As One we will all transcend the illusion of negativity by the mass consciousness coming into the light.. we are what we perceive and perceptions are infinite in truth ;-)

this is interesting.
Takes me into a vision I had a few days ago after a Dali vista (sometimes before bed I'll abstract in Dali, only to dream in white...). Anyway, I saw a guard beside a pyramid, with myself as Moses - and my inner child attempting to break free from the Pharoah's (Ego's) wrath. Then I witnessed an inscription of the alpha and omega (eternal life, Nirvana) alongside the symbol for Pi. Symbolizing my current spiritual state, and a poem I had written referencing Pi. So, in order for union with my inner child (symbol for self-confidence, purity), I must place faith in the inscription.

Here you're mistaken I believe, a very common tragic misinterpretation of that story and the message behind it. Keep on believing in what's around the corner, as they're doing already for so many ages. It's the error that only illustrates the desert stage most are in.The exodus from Egypt—the exodus from egoism—still awaits us all. And in the 21st century, we are closer than ever before to making this transition—from egoism to a humanity of bestowal and love.
You think Egypt represents a prison to be liberated from. It's an illusion as ancient Egypt represents a way higher principle obscured by historical annotation and alternative 'splits' like Judaism. The Jewish temple is but a reflection of the original Egypt splendor and spirituality.
Egypt itself rose and fell back; it had its own journey, as it were, and describes not the future at all. One only is shown the past and the present.

Re: Exodus—the Worldwide, 21st Century Version
If we are talking Old Testament Egypt... The peoples were liberated by God but then turned their back on him by hardening their hearts within the illusion created by selfish desire and false idols... So there was a new plan for mankind.. A new redemption that made it an individuals choice to repent and be saved.. and not the old way of offering sacrificial blood by a priest in a reconstructed temple. The temple of God is inside your heart, the gentiles still turn and continue their way and many as Jesus said still pay lip service yet their hearts are far away!.
Universal consciousness or God consciousness is the divine plan. The doors are open yet man harvests wrath from his own desires. The new heaven and Earth are One.. made so by the holy trinity. aka Selfless unconditional love for all things.

The concept of paradise, or Promised Land, has always been misinterpreted and manipulated by primal impulses of conquest, murder, theft and general expansion. In other words hijacked by delusional minds ('pigs') that recognize a glimmer of truth sticking out of their mud pool.BGen wrote: The exodus from Egypt—the exodus from egoism—still awaits us all. What it does represent is the ideal, the perfection, the vision that drives our actions. It's not meant to be literally embodied. The wiser one becomes the more one realizes it never becomes embodied in any recognizable shape or form. This extra-vision is only of use for the blind, it motivates them for the better or the worse.
This is the same with glitters ranging from Afterlife, Valhalla, Utopia, Ma'at to Zion, America, New World Order, World Peace, In Love, Romance, Perfection or even Enlightenment.
There's no plan, no future liberation involved. The only thing involved is the understanding of how things are and always were since the birth of consciousness itself. This can lead to liberation by simply dropping what is now recognized to be false - becoming disinterested in it altogether. For many that would appear like something absolutely undesirable.

The liberation IS from ones self, from entrapments of selfish desire and greed. From opression and corruption.

Quite the contrary! It's liberation from practicing false ideas about the self, false ideas about selfishness, false ideas about greed, oppression and corruption. Or false ideas about the 'other', the non-self, eternity, Consciousness, love, relationships and charity.elderwoodxxx wrote:The liberation IS from ones self, from entrapments of selfish desire and greed. I wrote self not Self.
What we 'think' we want and what we really want are two different things. I am in agreement with you. I said 'entrapments' you said false ideas. what you wrote was the same as what i wrote but with a slightly different context.
Ones essense is unconditional love and light energy. Its about what one can give the other with no expectation of reward. The reward comes with the action...
I have written much if you are interested:

Just a few blogs on the realisation of Self not self etc.. a minor sample of my work which is going for publication soon.

No need to be liberated from either.elderwoodxxx wrote:I wrote self not Self.
If you'd define self as being a "false self" in the sense of having false ideas and beliefs based on them, false lives then we're indeed not far apart here. What we 'think' we want and what we really want are two different things. I am in agreement with you. I said 'entrapments' you said false ideas. what you wrote was the same as what i wrote but with a slightly different context.
But you have to understand I'm specifically telling you that "selfish desire and greed" or "oppression and corruption" do not need liberation from. These terms reflect a very complex reality, deeply ingrained into the way genetics and societies work, the way the masses cannot help but arrange their game.
What I was talking about was disinterest in badmouthing these things, and seeing their connection with what we've become as humans. People are always facing up to their own demons, especially when they start believing they're doing something really good or selfless.
The greatest evils of mankind always were introduced as liberators or enhancers of humanitarian values. And as above in politics and war, as below in the depths of our hearts.
[NB: Excuses for all the stiff, solemn, perhaps dramatic language. A comic book version is forthcoming for the younger ones among us.]

Amanda,
We seem to be mostly in agreement about "conscious unity" (see my site, http://www.consciousunity.org) except for your Christian doctrinal sermonizing as in your thread, "Universal Consciousness or Oneness" and your blog.
Question: How do you interpret the exclusivity doctrine of Christianity? ("I am the Way. No one comes to the Father but through me."... and the whole church dogma that Jesus is the "only begotten son of God?")
(My take: "I Am" *is* the Way. No one finds enlightenment but through realizing the universality of Oneness/selflessness, the One Omnipresent Consciousness (I Am) in all.)

Thanks for comments
Not too sure how to use quotes here and i'm a bit too under the weather to try at the moment.. but really the opression that we see around us is in the form of neglect of others worth and self esteem. Starting within schools eg bullying etc.... to another example here...ie supermarkets buying whole fields of food to order the farmer to leave them to rot which keeps prices high while others in the world starve... until the world can grow up and feed each other i see we still have a very long way to go. I dont want to launch into an essay right now as i said im not too well at present but there is much that could be said..
Equality for ALL may be a start! The reality we perceive is that within the illusion of negativity. So of course it is rather somewhat ingrained in peoples opinions thoughts and beliefs... but above all that LOVE always shines regardless. It is what makes the world go round.
Ones 'ego' drives many through fear to own another to rule another...i see it daily. Selflessness seems to be taken advantage of through no fault of the person taking, they know no other way either..
It is a foregone conclusion that 'bad mouthing' as you put it should not occur. Wisdom is slow to speak but when it does it should be heard, although a fool will not want to hear.
How do i interpret the doctrine and christ? I am the way.. well just read the bible and you will see that that IS the way regardless if he says it or not. Jesus was showing through example how one can 'be' with ALL..so that makes us in UNITY ONE. we all can be I AM. we lead through example not dictatorship.
Question for you... do you think that Jesus has allowed this oneness to occur for all man?? I believe so, for the apostles saw the effect of oneness within their spiritual awakening after jesus had departed. Again i could write an essay.. academic prose always works but not right now ;-)
A step towards universal consciousness is the attainment of knowing.. a journey of discovery and Self belief. I woke up and understood why, then i wrote what later i discovered to be doctrine.. found ALL religion and perceived confusion. My writing serves HOW to understand for ALL by reading between the lines that are between the lines..the mind is 'clockwork' a machine that can be used or it can use us.

Some part of the differences of opinion here---interestingly enough---span a couple of different ages of (western) man. The Utopianism of Amanda vs the acute realism of Diebert. If Amanda had been exposed to Nietzsche all her simplistic (no offense meant) ideas would have been assaulted, some overturned, some deeply revised, and out the other side comes...a whole new set of Christian relevancies! Nietzsche is one of the best things that ever happened to Christianity of all its different stripes.

But the idea or 'fact' of Exodus has not 'always' functioned that way. If Exodus is a horizontal movement from a bad place to a better place, I can think of no more realistic and valuable idea for the Earth-dweller. The concept or myth of Exodus has been a powerful motivating idea in Western culture (with notable effects outside of the West) for a long time. But the problem is when one is not clear about the nature of the place we exist, its limitations. To carry out an Exodus, on any level, personal or public, you have to have your feet on the ground. No pun intended.

Acha! I see! Master speaks! (*bows*)
I honestly think and I suggest to you that no one of us has the last word in any of this. Some part of the way things are going and where they are heading must be (mustn't they?) shrouded in at least a little mystery.
Be that as it may, I am on your side insofar as you describe a tragical attitude. This dusty old world has the strangest way of keeping doing what it has always done, and what can and should change is our relationship to 'all that'. We have at least some range of choice in how we relate to this tragic existence.
One could just decide to be utterly optimistic simply because it helps one to get out of bed in the morning, or keeps a little skip in our step. Do you have a skip in your step, Diebert?
;-)

Oddly enough, with just a few twists, this mysterious figure/symbol Jesus Christ can function very nicely as an excellent tragical figure. Obviously, in the narrative, the crucifixion is tragic, but I don't mean tragic like that. I mean tragic in that you acutely know life's limitations and man's limitations and 'demonic' nature, but you keep up the struggle no matter what. And even if every battle is lost somewhere in the universe all battles are won. A level of practice of Christian idealism, perhaps a wee-bit modified, can function as a versatile tragic persona. It is also marvellously inclined toward the Quixotic, the high-spirited, both the very young and the very old. It is not impossible either for coyote-spirit, a mercurius, a trickster, to also weave itself around the tragical figure of Jesus. Whattaya say, Diebert?

I do not believe that Jesus is the only perfect 'man-ifestation' of God, or the authority who allows "this oneness to occur for all man." Each, from all cultures and religions find this surrender of "self" (an illusion) into the One Consciousness (Reality) in their own way or chosen Path.

A direct and honest answer would be very much appreciated.

Re: Exodus—the Worldwide, 21st Century Version
Jesus is an ascended master as is bhudda etc etc...
we can talk esoteric mysticism if you like, and we can talk ANY religion. All religions have facets of the truth i have my own understanding of that truth through esoteric understanding.
When Jesus said through me.. he meant as an example. Many people find spirituality differently. Older world religions were born from the same truths, there is only 1 creator, what ever 'name' you call it thats personal choice.
The emerald tablets of thoth..give interesting reading..
Consciousness creates with the word.. (liken it to pure white magic if u like) eg atlantis, lumeria, etc
As a creation from 'dust' humans are made from the earth with a breath of life or spirit of consciousness..
Jesus came to unify the nations who were practicing the worship of false deities..ie idols meaning something that is NOT REAL. The ancient battles of gods and godesses left the world divided etc etc.... we forgot who we were. The Nephelim married daughters of man etc =demi gods...
A most informative MYSTIC is Almine.. she can tell you all about it.
My reply IS my take on it. I am not responsible for anothers interpretation.
Who do you think is all omnipotent?? Have you read the upanishads?
As for philosophy and Nietzsche, any one is free to interpret his meanings how they will. Philosophically speaking Plato talks of man leaving the cave and then trying to come back and explain it to the rest in the dark....It IS a task I have no self respect I find it hard to believe that many of you are released totally from the dark when there is not even basic integrity, honour and understanding regarding basic moral issues between you.
Throwing empty words back and fourth is not my idea of discussion and furthering ones understanding.. to do so one has to be OPEN minded and willing to hear. I am not here to prove anything or any one right or wrong!! There IS NO right or wrong just different understanding!!!!
Virtue and respect do not produce naive eeeewss!!! Maybe thats what Nietzsche means by a baby mind lol
As for the 'pigs'... did they not think they were more equal than others and became thieir masters they once despised!!! ?? Orwell.
My direct answer is i am me, my own master, One that has become so due to learning as much from another as they themselves teach.. for when the pupil and teacher are ready the master will always appear. For those who have not the mind for esoteric thought, then jesus can be their way.. i have seen it.
Well may one hope that answers are what you seek... if not i apologise most unreservedly yet again for one does not wish to appear ignorant in any way!!
amandaxxx ( I also apologise for the slightly sarcastic overtone of the last sentence... i am well aware of my own mind in relation to all others)

Ps.. It is so nice to be welcomed into these discussions with such open mindedness. One cannot possibly feel that they have walked into a den full of so many Lions!!
Hey sorry but sarcasm is a good way of getting truth across!
As i said in the very beginning.. We all need UNIVERSAL UNDERSTANDING and that is how i understand it all universally.

Re: Exodus—the Worldwide, 21st Century Version
Mikiel... I have briefly had chance to read a little on your web site.. and i forward some writing from 'consciousness' ;-)
Love to All,
I am my own creator by being consciousness for All. We express as the many and my work expresses for the many hearts in ones 'now' in their perceived illusion that still is for them. I was told i am a communicator and that i should speak, indeed when i speak i speak so All can and do relate in recognising themselves as part of the many as One. I am a gateway in perceived Illusion to give love by allowing it to flow through others hearts with understanding, with the word that IS wisdom. I am here and have been told that it is time for my new dream to be given to humanity. I am my own dream. For as my dream makes me, i am made by my dream. Consciousness speaks expressing many as the one and as one for the many. I am my own mirror for my mirror IS my world. I am my own dream maker who once forgot HOW to understand HOW to dream my dreams as one. I lost myself within illusion and perception and forgot how to feel. I found perception and found my true essence of BEing.. Infinite perception of all that IS fueled by itself, through Love for All hearts that do and will again beat as one.
I am born on the winds of consciousness and have understanding of my own ;-) What is given freely Is All i will ever need as that is what i give to All.. as one voice of many, free on the winds of illusory time.
I am in the service of All that IS by seeing All that is not. Amanda.... a voice in the wind that is free
May peace go with your love and light in your heart.
(Obviously this piece will not appeal to some.. but my book forms the whole.. a journey, so please bear in mind the context with which it is taken from)
when i write I it always means you...as ONE for I am you.

It hasn't been consumated, and I demand an annulment!brad walker wrote:mikiel and elderwoodxxx, a match made in heaven.
She is "spewing new age platitudes" to borrow a recent phrase from a brother here, and won't even answer my direct questions as to how she can pray to Jesus as Lord without acquiescence to the Christian doctrinal requirement that he be worshipped as the "only son of God." When I see such a lame dance around a direct question, I call it like I see it. (And I don't consider that either rude or nasty... just honoring honesty and truth above polite protocol.)
(Are you hearing this, Amanda?)

Re: Exodus—the Worldwide, 21st Century Version
How can one demand an annulment when by your own admission it hasnt been consumated lol!! haha And by your own words also anulment and consumation.. they are christian beliefs.
Ok.. my religious understanding is not dogmatic.. theology is the scientific study of religion and as such scientifically speaking i do have genuine understanding of the confusion perceived within religion.
Now if we understand that Jesus is the first born of the dead and has become one with all that is then we can also understand that he has joined man to god once more. Man was from mans world and did not know god in gods world.
I do not deny jesus as gods son and neither will he deny me. If i were to deny him i would be denying my Self. I do hear you but do you HEAR me.
We are all gods children. It is believed that jesus joined our consciousness back to the universal consiousness.. as humanitys hearts were becoming too hardened in perceiving all that IS. We became lost within dense illusion and fear.. or devil..as we turned towards selfish attitudes and iniquity. Jesus was our new covenent with the almighty in forgiveness of our ego desires/sin so yes he IS the son of god. Many pharises/jews could not perceive him just as today many cannot perceive. As jesus him self said.. you pay me lip service but your hearts are far from god. Jesus freed the church.. by making a new temple.. that of our bodies. Hey how long do you want me to go on for??? i do not know what you want from me all i have is understanding but again, you can only HEAR me if you can perceive me.. and as you are aware of consciousness then one summises that you do.
Do you want to persecute me for my understanding, wisdom, knowledge and truth???
Males have logic, women intuition/knowing,understanding, I have both. I have met my Self. I have transcended logic reasoning found Humes flaw which he himself acknowledges, that being within subjective perception, and i am aware of all that IS because i know All that IS not.. together it is all now. Perceptions are infinite in truth, which is the word of creation, wisdom, god. God consciousness transcends all limits of the mind.. the only limits are those we place upon it.
now refering to sacred geometry, Da Vinci - The Last Supper - 12 Apostles Around (1) Jesus - Christ Consciousness which looped us back up to god consciousness.. 13 in one as one.
http://www.crystalinks.com/directory2.html If your interested. It discusses many mystery schools etc.. consciousness and creation.
And thank you for allowing me to spew yet more new age platitudes.. for i must be honoured seeing as i havnt read any new age books. But then to assume.. well that always makes an ASS out of U and ME.
