Fractal

Post by IJesusChrist »

I personally believe that reality is a fractal, not really, but it's a good association.

Infinitely small and infinitely large scales the universe does hold. I believe the atom is a monsterous universe, electrons zipping at insane relative speeds about the nucleus, which we don't even know how to invision. I believe also that galaxies are miniscule particles wofting from some spec of an explosion some billion years ago.

I believe purpose of ourselves ties to this inifinte plane of scale, we being neither near the large nor near the small, nor even the middle ground, a gabriel's horn of sorts, where laws and forces eventually dissipate to nothing, while others take over, allowing for new possibilities.

In defense of this, within 50 years I highly expect we will find dark matter & dark energy are actually the product of a 5th fundamental force, expecially dark energy. Dark matter I still know too little about.

Is it infinite?

Why do you believe those things, because you just thought of them? I don't believe any of those things. If we were inside an atom, then where is the Universe expanding? Shouldn't the atom be expanding? And the Bose-Einstein Condensate would put a whole bunch of Universe overlapping one another.. that would be strange for anything that lived in them.

We aren't inside an atom, thats obvious. A fractal doesn't repeat precisely the same, ever. Thats the basic definition of a fractal, so if an atom is smaller than us, certainly we are not contained in them, thats common sense?

It takes a bit to grasp the reality of a fractal existance. I understand.

Here's the thing, and you still show signs of not understanding expansion. If you have infinite space, you can expand forever, the distance between any object will also reach infinity. It will be an infinite space with many infinities between it. You are having a hard time understanding the concept of infinity no?

Why do I believe in this?

It's the only thing that I don't or can't ever understand. If I coulc conceive the meaning of existance, then it must obviously not be true. The mind is most definitely not large enough, nor complex enough to understand existance. Quantum computing has come to terms with this; to understand any object, you must 'become' that object. I.e. to understand the universe, you would have to be the universe. Yes we can understand the fundamental laws, but we can never know all the information, nor the meaning of purpose or existance.

If I COULD understand existance, creation of matter and space (and time?) then it would NOT make sense. It would obviously not be truth! A fractal, of never ending complexity and distribution is obviously a far-out idea; but it is one (if not the only) ways the universe could exist where meaning wouldn't make sense, therefore, it exists.

If you don't understand what I'm getting at it's probably better that way, nobody should give a shit why we are here.

It also goes along with my idea that the universe revolves around a singularity. A fractal can be described by a fairly simple equation, however - that finite equation gives infinite complexity. But fractals, to a mathemetician are somewhat of a joke, and I don't really mean the universe is a fractal as you or I know them, but rather the basic idea of infinite complexity in scale.

No, I don't understand your version of infinite expansion, and that's because I have a theory which doesn't require it. I have already accounted for all of your theories, and fixed them. So it would be a huge step back for me to get back to infinite regression. I don't need to understand things which you say can't be understood. I have also explained the fractal too, it is the Aether, but it has a minimum size, not infinite regression.

Lol. Your posts are slightly annoying, yet funny too.
