Genius Making Sense Of Everything Is Bad

Post by Pincho Paxton »

I think just lately I have got to the point where I can make sense of everything. But that's not good. It works like this..

1/ You are born, and you start to gain information.
2/ You learn that 1+1=2
3/ You start to apply this rule to observation.
4/ Your rules are logical, you have been taught known facts.
5/ You get older, and start to use these rules to make new facts.
6/ At first it works, you have to use known facts to make new facts.
7/ You see results from your guesses, and the results are true. : That guy is on drugs : I need to put this into my computer program, and my computer program should make a snowflake hopefully: Those crop circles don't make sense, the burning, and twisting, and the edges all look different than using a rope.
8/ But then you start to use your guesses to make a new guess.
9/ With selective memory, you start to remove all of the false information. (I happen to have selective memory)
10/ If you are a Genius you can make sense from almost anything by applying all of the known facts. Your brain has True almost all the way through it.
11/ The problem is that true + true doesn't equal true.

This was my crazy thought today, and it makes sort of sense, and it seems to have all trues..

"I am creating the crop circles with my thoughts!"

Let me go through the variables of this thought.

A/ The images in the crop circles were the images that I drew on my computer the day before.
B/ Crop circles are mostly made near to radio transmitters.
C/ I live in the middle of three telephone transmitters.
D/ I am at the same height in my building as those three telephone transmitters (3 storey)
E/ I can understand what the crop circles mean, they are mostly the same as my theory.

Those are true facts. Then I can add my guesses:

F/ I know how the crop circles bend that way. The electrons, and the Aether working together. (close to factual, that is lightening, and magnetism)

Now continue with what seems to be going wrong here...

12/ I have so many facts that my true light starts flashing.
13/ My inventiveness is working against me.
14/ Because I don't store false information, my guesses are starting to get stored as true information.

So, beware the True + True + True + True + True + True = True

It can catch you out. You can start to believe anything.

Apparently, there is also another thing to add to this.

15/ No one cares.

I actually think it is an important message. There are a lot of A = A in the forum.

A = A if you have 'A' right in the first place.

I think you just have to be careful when you have a lot of fact that = true.

Like : The Moon Landing: 9/11: conspiracy theories.

Too many true facts do not = true.

How you get around that is difficult. It doesn't help that so much internet information is fake. Maybe the internet produces too much false information, it is messing us up.

Reading through a lot of the threads, I think I have an answer to this problem.

First everybody make sure that you have seen 'A Beautiful Mind' with Russell Crowe. It shows that only a Genius can cure a broken mind.

Then go through some of your truths which cause mass debate on the forum.

Causality for example.

Then add a new category to True, and change it to maybe not True if there is a small amount of improbability to this being True.

Where do you get this improbability?

Well you have to listen to all of the replies. Then you have to first add them as True? with a question mark.

You have to believe them, but at the same time question them.

Then when something seems a bit odd, you have to change it to False.

A lot of you will benefit from this.

Like Causality. It has lots of True answers, but doesn't make sense in one part. It means that we are here for nothing. Just that tiny false ending, and you have to throw it away.

That's not going to be easy. But does make you an even greater Genius than before. You now have a new category in your mind. Almost true.

Having said all of that. I still can't get it out of my head that December 2012 is bad. I mean that I have about 20 True for that one. I can't falsify 20 Trues.

ok...i realize a lot of people here think i'm a sucker & ignorant because i have faith there are yogis that can walk on water, fly, raise the dead, etc. and i belive the are extraterrestials here that the government knows about and tried to conceal this from us...and that crop circles very well could be of extraterrestial origin....

does that mean i should stop beliveing what i feel in my mind/heart to be true and just go along with what everyone else here belives because they are more intelligent than me ? (Geniuses)

that i shouldn't have a mind of my own ?

i should just follow blindly those that "know better " ?

i'd have to be an idiot to do that..because i can think for myself.

i do respect the thoughts of others here...but i really can't comprehend why their minds are closed to the things my mind is open to.

but i am willing to be proved wrong even though i still have strong inclinations towards my own intutions...

You can still keep all of those things, but just re-examine all of them. firstly, that's an awful lot of things to believe in that have only been proved by some dodgy looking video footage, or a Bible from 2000 years ago that may have been altered as well. But then you don't have to listen to me. Watch the film 'A Beautiful Mind' then try to figure out if you are making sense. You might keep all of your beliefs, and you might not. You might feel better afterwards to know that you have changed a True to a Maybe. I feel a lot better, and have decided just to use my theory as art instead of a theory. A bit like De Vinci used to sketch gadgets and stuff like that.

Our brain works by storing electricity in True, and not much electricity in False. Some of your electricity could be in the wrong places.

I think this freaky greenhouse warming is making us feel a bit worried. We are wondering what is going on.

Pincho...i like the way you think..even tho a little over my head...i can pretty much follow you..and i can sense your humanity comming through...and you have a good sense of humor :)

And yes i saw "A Beautiful Mind" a few years ago...i'll have to watch it again...i can't remember much...lol
i do love your thinking tho. and i think you're a genius.

DHodges....yes not to belive in things...but to KNOW OR EXPERIENCE ...right ?
OK....i have had some strange experiences in "my dreams"...many others have had similar experiences in their "dreams"...and the strange thing is...of all the dreams we have, we do not think those "high strangeness dreams" are dreams....but i truely recognize most of my other dreams as being only dreams.....but this "high strangeness " stuff is very different....like a fake dream.......

have you yourself ever experienced a dream that was like that ?
and i'm not talking about dreams that feel real, then you wake up and realize they are just a dream.
No, this is something very different.
And masses of people all over the world are having these same experiences....
something is going on....and i don't think there is a conventional explaination....

If you recognize someone as more intelligent than you, doesn't that motivate you to want to improve your mind? Are you ok with just stagnating in your comfort zone?

If you're content with your beliefs, then you'll stay where you're at.

It all hinges on where your dissatisfaction takes you. I went through a "magical phase" myself at one time, but I just got discontented with believing in things I hadn't actually experienced, or believing in things just because they are exciting or feel good. It just struck me as weak minded. Maybe discontent will operate on you like it did me. Maybe it won't. Can't say I really care too much. *thumbsup*

Yes definately !!!!!! That's why i read a lot. And also learn from these forms. It's just hard to change what you
think you know, especially when your life experiences coincide with what you've read from others reports and when you have faith in something (like i have faith in Buddhism and therefore have faith in yogis)

i don't just belive in things because they are exciting....it took me a very long time to commit to my faith.
But i'm still learning and open minded enough to change.

i'm skeptical about many things...i have no interest in Astrology for instance. But astronomy...yes...

Scientific method also has flaws. Science uses equipment made for the purpose of finding a result, based on a vague understanding of what they are trying to find. Unfortunately, that vague idea is so often back to front. Search for the speed of light from A to B, but what if the ingredients travel from B to A? Search for the Aether by looking for an Aether wind, but what if the Aether doesn't produce a wind? Slam atoms together to find out what is inside them, but what if some of their parts are on the outside of them? Use photosensitive paper to see where photons are going, but what if it isn't the Photons making the dots on the paper?

So science is perhaps the most flawed study of all studies.

how many studies are there? Or better, can you list the best studies there are?

The best studies are the studies of everything from every angle, not fixed in one place. So you have 100 alternatives to the Big Bang, and you find the one which works best with everything else. Not just scare everyone away because they don't stick with the Big Bang.

The dinosaurs became extinct because our gravity suddenly increased, and they were built for a lighter gravity.

So what if you make things up. Try everything out.

Science is a method used to confirm the things we theorize (or how you put it: "make up").

So when we make things up, or theorize, we aren't really studying. Studying is what we do when we want to confirm what we think might be the right theory. Theories need evidence. That's what makes them valuable.

Well yes, the problem is with coming up with new experiments all of the time. You can have a theory which works with all of the old experiments, but scientists want new experiments. Anyway, I have proposed some experiments for scientists to consider. They are looking into my Aether theory, and maybe trying out my experiments, I'm not sure, but they did say that they wanted to help to figure this out.

I had a similar situation. A guy I met on the internet said he was a scientist. And he was gonna test my theory for me, but I had to give him money. It was just so that he could afford to do the serious work required!

Then I told him what my theory was: the main contributor to global warming, was the gas emissions emerging from Rosie O'Donnel.

Consider these statements about UFOs:

(1) While most UFO sightings can be explained fairly easily, there remains a few unexplained sightings by very credible witnesses. The best explanation for at least some of those sightings at the present time seems to be some extraterrestial being or craft.

(2) I have not examined the UFO phenomenen in any great detail, so I have no strong opinion about their origin.

(3) I believe in UFOs.

Statement (1) is reasonable (although I do not agree with the conclusion), and leaves room for discussion and the possibility of alternative explanations.

Statement (2) is also reasonable - there is no reason to have an opinion on every matter, especially if it has no real impact on your everyday life.

Statement (3) is not a reasonable statement, it is a religious statement. This is the sort of belief that should be avoided.

Statement (3) was that "I believe there are unidentified flying objects" is not a religious statement. The fact is that not all flying objects have been positively identified, therefore it is a reasonable statement and the sort of belief that is well-founded.

Carl, I agree with that. However, this is how people usually state it. "I believe in UFOs," as it is commonly stated, means "I believe the earth is visited by alien craft," or something like that. It is very vaguely stated, purposely so, because it is a vague, religious belief, not a statement that there are objects in the atmosphere (or other atmospheric phenomenen) that are not well-identified.

When people say, "I believe in UFOs," they almost never mean that they think that not all flying objects are well-identified. It should probably be stated as "I believe in UFOs hurf durf."
