Thankyou for making me realize just now that you can be simple, but you can't be straight forward, otherwise whatever you are saying will instantly be rejected if it is contradictory to people's beliefs.

The sages realized this, some people didn't, they were usually killed.

And so I enter Tao rhyme mode, forever..

Really a life changing experience.

Myself is straight forward, and that's fine... if you can accept that 90% or so people will instantly reject what your saying with all those defense neurons firing away.

Myself also likes poetics,
so either way this is going to work great.

Learning can be excruciating, but we won't really learn anything
if we try to fake our way through it.

Was Lao Tzu "faking" his way through it when he spoke mysteriously on purpose to hook readers? To make them think and understand his meanings? This is all I mean, you do it yourself sometimes I'm sure.

Dennis

Nope, If I touch the stove it burns remember, this is one of those.

I can't answer for him. My gut tells me he was a genuine sage.
Or he was a happy hooker :)

Faking it, means not being genuine.
I try not to be a genuine ass-hole though.

In the domain of ' a possibility for relationship',
keeping in mind we come in related and go out related and there's never a condition of not relatedness.

If my plea falls on deaf ears
and
your plea falls on deaf ears

what?

If you mean I'm being an ass-hole I'm not, and he was a genuine sage, that's what sages do, get people to think and realize things.

Dennis

Didn't get that again? Our pleas would be wasted...

Oy...no...I was referring to me (trying not to be an ass-hole)...now you're being paranoid ! lol
Yes, sages want to help others to wake up, and they sometimes use different techniques according to each persons personality.

let's say that something is transmitted in language that's not the language.

from what I can tell from the case you are pleading.
the case you are making is that enrolment in your vision enables the 'listeners' the ability to make their 'dream' run flawlessly.

that you can deliver the necessary tools of the trade for the production of a dream that gets you what you want whether that be cool chicks, bags of money or other paraphernalia you desire.

'I can help with that' says John is transmitted.

I get that there's more to you than that and that 'helping you pull chicks' is like the entree.

Was it not clear I was listing all those things at the beginning just to point out that there was no specific agenda, that in the group of assistance it wouldn't be about judging the things people want to achieve (such as help with a girl etc), but simply helping them because they asked.. could still add in some insights on the matter of course, and I'm not pleading that case anymore, I'm only still referring to it because people keep bringing it up, I understand it wasn't what some people were looking for(although you seem to have discerned this without looking).

I was more referring to help with things like getting our voices out there, such as making youtube video's with the right material, I guess the right material would be the one that lead them to trade secrets, those would have to be general and beneficial trade secrets and not so specific, as we wouldn't want people caught in things they don't understand.

All good, must not have been paying close enough attention, pretty tired.

How do you best make use of your abilities day to day and in the larger scheme?

I just want to establish whether it (the case) and it's presenting has you experiencing:

'it's falling on deaf ears, woe betide'

that listening hasn't happened.

that there are grounds for complaint in the matter.

All this in the Context of having the dream run flawlessly.

Gotcha, there is no woe if not.

There is only that boredom I was talking about, which can be fixed by "doing things with an impact on others", this to me, seems with purpose.

Woe does not arise, just the disinterest.

I think of past or future incredibly rarely anymore. If something has just happened to me, I forget it. If something is going to happen to me, I forget it. If something is happening and it's mundane I'm either ignoring it or looking at it, and feigning to care and respond if I have to, I am rarely disappointed.

This can be fixed by doing interesting things. I find philosophy interesting(...unless it has been slow or with opposition from a low level, the low level part is rare on GF of course as the standard is generally high)

I find creating/writing/doing things that are worthwhile interesting. I don't like creating/writing things if they are put to waste, ( existing only in my mind, not shared to others)

Understanding where I cam coming from here? What is my flaw in this option?

I've got that one.
I call it the teflon guy, nothing sticks.

in order to have the dream work out, 'dwelling' on the small stuff doesn't contribute to having the dream work out.

thanks for sharing.

the quarterback has got the ball in his hands.
it's the set-up.
that's where it is. in his hands.
it's a 'hot potato'.

the quarter back's job is to put the ball where it isn't.
to put the ball where it isn't is all the quarter back does.

there are trees
then there are no trees
then there are trees

it is what it is and it isn't what it isn't.

you said John,
it's dreamlike in nature,
it is what it is.

you said John,
it isn't what it isn't,
the isn't that it isn't is infinite.

The quarterback puts the 'hot potato' where it isn't.

The wisdom of the quarter back puts the 'hot potato' where it is which is where it isn't.

That move makes the dream work out just fine.

Yes, I see the ball dynamics now haha, I just don't watch american football, you could have just said:

"Prevent trouble before it arises.
Put things in order before they exist."
-Lao

Or something similar, even the tao is clearer than you.

So you are saying you want me to think about what I'm trying to achieve and how with the group.

I imagined it to include this very thing, if only I knew more smart people...
Assistance in preventing troubles before they arise, which is the art of success.

That would involve you going back to the last few pages of the 'musings, critiques' thread and looking over Quinn's comments.
Give them a chance.
