Our actions and thoughts are Its will.
Good and evil, right and wrong; these concepts exist only in the minds of people.
But this is what It wants.
The Tanakh, the New Testament, the Qu'ran; these writings all have a purpose.
To satisfy Its will.
Jesus, Muhammad, Hitler, Madonna; they all served their purpose.
They satisfied Its will.
If It wants you to be ignorant, you will be ignorant.
If It wants you to be enlightened, you will be enlightened.
You know what It wants you to know.
People all have the same purpose in life: to carry out Its will.
Judging others is futile, but this is what It wants.
What It does not want is simply not so.
This can be taken seriously, disregarded as hogwash, or anywhere in between.
Our actions and thoughts are Its will.

No, judging others is productive because we are the causing agents of the world, there is no external outside source, we are the conscious creators. An outside god is a myth. There are only the minds interacting in this world.
Its will is our will, and some wills are enlightened, while some are ignorant. However, some wills can be caused to be enlightened through judgment.

Perhaps you are trying to say: A blind and unambitious Nature is the doer of all things. We are all puppets on Her string.iAmVincent wrote:Our actions and thoughts are Its will.

Re: An Omniscient and Omnipotent Being
So you are arguing that enlightenment is innately better than ignorance, and that judgment by those who are enlightened is necessary for some others to achieve such a state of mind. I argue that judging such concepts in terms of being innately 'better' or 'worse' is subjective in nature, and I do not see truth in subjectivity, only opinion. I only see truth in that such conflicting ideas are innately different from each other. I cannot with a clear conscious say that being enlightened is inherently better than being an ignoramus since the only 'proof' backing this assertion is an opinion.Ryan Rudolph wrote:No, judging others is productive because we are the causing agents of the world, there is no external outside source, we are the conscious creators. That would be a fair summary.David Quinn wrote: Perhaps you are trying to say: A blind and unambitious Nature is the doer of all things. We are all puppets on Her string.

There is no summary. There is only what you are saying as a whole.
If you can summarise it, then do so in the first place, otherwise it's just a load of horseshit.

Re: An Omniscient and Omnipotent Being
in fact, if i were to categorize all of your statements into one word, it would probably be fate.
"fate" is defined by, the universal principle or ultimate agency by which the order of things is presumably prescribed; the decreed cause of events, which if in fact true, we need to do nothing, because if it was destined to happen, it will.
we all discuss the purpose of things, the context that they might actually be hiding, but in the end, if it will's us to know, then we will. Until then our quest for any knowledge is futile.
im not agreeing with you, im just summing up what your saying.
