Thanks. That thing was so big and on such a big dew-covered web that I saw it from halfway across my back yard one morning. I'm pretty sure it was a Argiope of the A. aurantia species.Tomas wrote: like the spider photo :-)
It was hanging upside down underneath its web, so I took the shot from underneath, trying to catch the yellow stripes. I didn't get the stripes in the shot, but it still turned out to be a pretty cool perspective shot with spider pretty close and the treetops in the background.
