I dunno Jack, but try this for size.
FDR could have negotiated with the Japs to let them have Asian colonies if they'd leave US interests alone. He could also have asked the Nazis to ship all the Jews to America, and then sat back and let the Nazis and the Soviets have at each other, selling weapons and supplies to both sides.
The USA would have received several times the geek geniuses it used to develop the A-bomb. Stalin would have lost the war, been butchered. We save the 6 million Jews, and the Nazis wouldda saved the 50 million Russians that Stalin murdered. The Japs killed 12 million Chinese, but the 50 million that Mao killed would have made it. The cold war never would have happened. The Japs would have had the Vietnam war.
After uniting Europe by force, Hitler would have croaked. If you've worked with meth heads you get to notice some of the clues in the body language. The whole upper echelon of the Nazi party was all strung out on what we now call meth, and even if the members of the German General Staff didnt figure it out and drag the bastards out to be shot, as they move into their 50's they start getting cardiacs.
As Nietzsche said, Germany was very inventive with stimulants. But the longitudinal studies had not been done yet. But instead, FDR saw the chance to build the global American empire, which like all empires, has ruined the republican process. The gas chambers weren't fiction. Those guys could do 4400 a day, more than the ovens could cremate afterwards. Which was why they buried them.
