The humourless philosopher never gets very far along the path to truth, but the child still needs to learn his manners.

To become pure spirit should be the goal of all philosophy.

Nietzsche believed that a day without dancing is a day lost. He also viewed a childlike spirit as the highest progression.

A visitor to a foreign country is wise to adhere to simple etiquette, at least until acclimated.

Relax, man. I was merely engaging in a little comedy.

Is dancing the only form of humour you recognize?

Leaving aside women and mindless creatures generally, it is usually only unhappy people weighed down by worries and fears who place so much emphasis on "dancing" and the like - as a kind of antidote to their normal condition. The truly lighted-hearted and wise have no need of such contrivances.
