Hmm.. I would say very embarresing. At least, I wouldn't want to be in that situation.
But after all, all I can say is free will. He's doing what he wants to do, Not what people want of him. Thats his choice.
However, Very embarresing, especially if the Dalai Lama himself proclaimed him to be a spiritual leader. Maybe this is all how the "plan" works. Knowing about the world and society will help if you're going to be a leader, let alone a spiritual one. Going to a disco for the first time is probably a good eye opener. Who knows what's in store.
