Science and religion are both ways of interpreting the empirical satisfactorily. That is why, in so many cases, we find that science and religion go hand in hand. In so many instances, they try to emulate one another. Religion wants to possess the relatively higher accuracy and confidence of science. Science wants to possess the relatively higher sanctity and transcendence of religion.
Both of their followers are so utterly deluded. Religion holds on to its own ultimate reality, no matter what the opposing evidence. And science, because for it the reality is constantly changing, holds that there is no ultimate reality. Ironically, science itself has become an ultimate reality. The ultimate reality of no ultimate reality.
But it could be so different for both religion and science, if only we would use them in the right fashion...
