Free Energy?

Post by butthead »

I tried to become a new username[wookie] but someone deleted that new identity and the post. So I shall remain as Butthead.

Free energy can it exist? What say the "geniuses" here?

Steorn’s technology appears to violate the ‘Principle of the Conservation of Energy’, considered by many to be the most fundamental principle in our current understanding of the universe. This principle is stated simply as ‘energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only change form’.

Steorn is making three claims for its technology:

The technology has a coefficient of performance greater than 100%.

The operation of the technology (i.e. the creation of energy) is not derived from the degradation of its component parts.

There is no identifiable environmental source of the energy (as might be witnessed by a cooling of ambient air temperature).

The sum of these claims is that our technology creates free energy.

An interesting statement:

Addendum

It is constructive to consider the interpretation of familiar phenomena from the viewpoint of Free Energy. Distortion of the cosmic energy field by the presence of mass evokes the gravitational flow of time energy. The measure of the created spatial distortion is the force counterpoise known as weight.

Open systems have a number of consequences. A closed system contains limited energy. The definition of an open system assumes that there are supplies of energy that cannot be depleted; in practice, this energy is supplied from some source in the surrounding environment, which can be treated as infinite for the purposes of study. One type of open system is the so-called radiant energy system, which receives its energy from solar radiation – an energy source that can be regarded as inexhaustible for all practical purposes. Some hypothetical open systems receive energy from space in the form of vacuum energy (sometimes referred to as zero-point energy).

Interesting...

Thus the monopole is the analog of a chemical catalyst. It is an agent provocateur. It wanders through matter stimulating proton decay and nuclear breakup without being changed itself. A single monopole can do this over and over again as rapidly as it can find its way into successive protons or nuclei. And with each such event, a quantity of energy is liberated which is far greater than that released in uranium fission. The implications of monopole catalysis are enormous. All matter, be it garbage or junk or gold ingots, becomes a source of unlimited energy. Given a suitable supply of monopoles the energy needs of the world are limited only by the supply of matter to be catalyzed into energy. If massive monopoles are ever found, they will be of incalculable worth for physical research and for energy production.

Much more can be made of magnetism and gravitational field energy, but even telluric currents could be used for a number of minor needs, once the sensitivity of equipment is fine-tuned and produced with economic feasibility (which, ironically, becomes elementary regarding free energy - LOL).

This is interesting:
a conspiracy theorist's explanation of free energy

*****edit*******
the link came up weird-looking, but it still works, and due to the appropriatness of weirdness having to do with any conspiracy theory, I'll leave it alone.
