GENIUS FORUMS

Go see it.

Neil Gaiman is awesome. Stardust is awesome.

One of the best shows this year, for sure, hell...one of the best movies ever.

I figured you like your fantasies :)

Why do you consider Stardust awesome? Does it have a good plot? Does it inspire the viewer to consider higher truths? Just saying it's awesome really only tells me that you liked the movie a lot. It does not indicate to me whether or not I would like the movie because I am not automatically assuming that your taste and my taste would be identical.

I'll wait until it comes out on DVD. I do enjoy fantasy and make no apologies for doing so.

Only just got around to seeing "What the Bleep Do We Know", which unlike many here I thought was very good. That a third of the movie was complete rubbish, and it was sponsored by some weird New Age crowd, didn't bother me too much - when you note that the bulk of what was said was true, and that anything that leads people away from religious delusion to at least some degree of truth, then I think those who mocked it were being egotistical, shallow and childish [Kevin Solway for instance].

What other fairly popular film has ever gone as far into truth as this film - NONE that I know of.
