I find it odd that Kevin's book and David's books were not accepted for publication, but this guy's books were published and are sitting in 2 of Australia's libraries.
Why are books on how to molest young boys okay, but philosophy books are not? (this is not a question for the old-timers, but for anyone here less than a year. I'm not saying for old-timers not to post, just leave room for the newer people).

Re: Books Published in Australia
publishers aren't interested unless they believe there is a market for the material. That is why many philosophers resort to writing things like "Seinfeld and philosophy" or "the matrix and philosophy"
It basically comes to down the fact that there isn't much of a market yet for barebones brutally told truth, only watered down half-truths, and half-ideas, things that don't hit the ego where it hurts hard.
There has been certain books published that are brutally honest, but very few. Many of which have been written using overly complicated language, as many have been published by small publishing companies. The reasons why a small publishing company may decide to go with a sage's writings over another probably varies with many factors...geography, the owner's philosophy, how the book is written (overly complicated would probably get published easier, as the authors wouldn't be able to understand it, a simple concise text would probably frighten and offend the review teams at a publishing company.
