Reminds me of Richard Brautigan Poems:

IMPASSE

I talked a good hello
but she talked an even
better good-bye.

How is that 'poem' about miscommunication?

You know, Carl:
"You say goodbye
And I say hello.
Hello, hello!
I don't know why you say goodbye
I say hello."

(You have obviously not been eating your magic mushrooms Grumpy Carl, because if you had been it'd all be clear. Now, are daybrown an me gonna have to drive out to Arizona to FORCE FEED you, or will you chomp down your mandatory '9 grams of dried cubensis' voluntarily?)

(You have obviously not been eating your magic mushrooms Grumpy Carl,
Flatulence will get you nowhere, my South American amigo.

Nor can you wave the previous posts in front of me and expect me to understand your Shamanic ayahuasca-enhanced thinking.

Follow along: Peter L says "Misunderstanding, woo, what a subject." You chime in with, "I talked a good hello, but she talked an even better goodby [sic]." I say, where is the misunderstanding in your example; you want her, she don't want you, it's simple: two agendas, two opinions, two motivations, and not a fucking sign of misunderstanding anywhere to be seen.

What have I missed?

And don't bogart that ladle, m'man...

Those with mathematical minds need Sylvia Plath. I know she's helped me tremendously.

Metaphors

I'm a riddle in nine syllables,
An elephant, a ponderous house,
A melon strolling on two tendrils.
O red fruit, ivory, fine timbers!
This loaf's big with its yeasty rising.
Money's new-minted in this fat purse.
I'm a means, a stage, a cow in calf.
I've eaten a bag of green apples,
Boarded the train there's no getting off.

Yeah, I know, you're too quick-minded, too beautifully oblique to be pinned down with actual conversation. Just another poem tossed off, I get to figure it out, and you're flittering into the night again.

I think you're a fairy, not a shaman. Alex Tinkerbell.

No, it was just an opportunity to disrupt the typical, with a nine-lined poem, and each line with nine syllables.

But anyway, you missed the point which had nothing to do with content but everything to do with style and form. What Peter posted reminded me of Brautigan poems.

Yeah, nine and nine, how very shamanic.

Indeed your responses have more to do with style and form than with content.

"Indeed your responses have more to do with style and form than with content."

My responses both specifically in this thread and in general, if they are anything, are multi-layered. They are not just one thing, they are many things. And they are not tied down to one boring style, to one boring and more or less useless mode of communication. And that goes for content too. I live in a very open world and influences come to me from many different sources. From the very innards of the earth to celestial radio signals bouncing from galaxy to galaxy. I am not locked into just one but can find use for many. One of the things I am shamanically and prophetically inculcating in my sojourn here---as I mystically rewire and rework and recondition the frustrated egg-heads who post here while leaving traces of sugardust and starspecks across your (boring!) souls---is fluidity. Y'all's intellects are like 10 pound hammers, when you get done it all turns to roadkill.

I am dragging you along to Zion, Grumpy Carl, whether you like it or not! I'm sticking you with sunshine darts that swim to the core of your blood and make it redder.

Really, you're a joke, Alex. You're trying to kid a kidder. You fancy me "Grumpy Carl" who needs dragging, when actually, I'm up ahead. You're lost in your jester-ism, and it's making you bat blind with faulty radar. What a laugh.

A regular ministering angel, ineffably strewing dewdrops into the stifling furnace where the captive children are thrown.
