interesting to me on American tv, many daytime courts various channels, ie Peoples Court.
expect unbroadcasted courts to be same way, the judge is one race/sex, the sidekick is the opposite! check it out....to me amazing. I say judge select sidekick (assistant/guard) but not sure. always chose opposite sex and color!!! or like 90% or more often.
I doubt they see racism/sexism at all.
Anyone work with court appreciate your insight. yes I make few assumptions but still agree definitely racism involved.

White female judge/black male sidekick, black male judge/white female sidekick, .............
no asians yet but if judge white guard WILL NOT be asian I assure you!

I should have asked, hey people from other countries, in your court rooms, Is the same?
My examples were lower courts, I have no idea what situation in higher American courts.

More explanation is I think they do it JUST TO GET ALONG! Americans seem to have such a hard time to get along, so we know opposite sex often get along better.
Im curious what is the match in UK and Australia, assume judge has one court assistant/guard like in this country.

gonna be short version.

Conclusion: WHY judge and assistant (monkey in courtroom with cop suite) nearly always opposite sex and color. Because least difficulty getting along, simple as that.
What!?, black man take orders from white man? NO! way!
What!, white woman take orders from white man? No way!
what is left, got to be either white man or non-white woman.
WHAT! white man get along with white boss man? Not very well, so best choice is what you see on TV , white male judge with black female assistant.

And when judge is white woman (plenty of them since job is merely applying rules and techniques for determining dishonest party) she has problems commanding white woman (both have problems!) so best to command black man! Black man not feel racism from her like he feel from white man (the man).

So what you see in all these American courtrooms is something that exists THROUGHOUT American society and profession and employment, combination of ego, sexism and rasism problems that usually are hidden (deliberate) but in this case of courts CANNOT be hidden.

Just got to turn on tv from maybe 9 to 3 and see what means must employ the courts just to be able to operate in traditional ways. In fact all OF Americas traditional ways of operating DO NOT consider possibility of major changes like professional blacks and women.
Its crazy but here in America instead of changing systems to accomodate new people with new minds, they keep on using old systems and ways of doing things with people that they were NEVER intentioned to accomodate! to me its unbelieveable.

If you want to see the inside of courtroom, other than on TV. Try this:

Call the police and tell them to be at the courthouse (of your choice) at 8am. Then, go to that courthouse and pee on the lawn. Be sure the cops saw you lettin' it all hang out. Get the drift? - but don't pee into the breeze cuz you'll be smelly when you are led off to jail and those will be the only clothes you are allowed to wear at your court appearance ... and don't try this in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless your usual underwear color is pink.

Sometime in the next three working days, you'll have your opportunity to see a judge and some cop standing nearby. Only this time he'll have a gun, taser, and nightstick (for It's Guiliani Time). (Abner Louima will tell you all about that)

Then if you get out with a fine and credit for time served, you come on back here and tell us all about your experiences.
