Withdraw that projection.
Its your winning formula.
Coming from Box 1 (survival mode)
set of assessments,
set of options,
winning formula,
ego,shadow.
lonely masquerade.
Coming from Box 2 (all is empty)
no phenomena possesses selfhood.
insubstantial.
nominal existence only.
Coming from Box 3 ( infinite)
empty is empty.
no thing, not finite.
all is void.
dwell in the infinite.
Coming from survival (everyone's got a winning formula in order to survive, can't not have one)
Coming from empty (harmonious relations)
Coming from nothing (peace)

Listen dennis, I understand, it's not coming from some separate higher being, when I think of God I'm not thinking of anything but what I am.
You are too, there is no denying it, I am
Are you going to try and tell me I am not? Ever heard the concept "one with god", "the kingdom of god is within you"

Growing into the wisdom of non-discrimination, one should be careful what is discriminated against as being a discrimination.
Sounds like that comment you just posted required a concept to me.

Re: A few topics...what are your thougts?
Just realize god is a three letter word, to tell me my belief in a three letter word is a false one is absolutely ridiculous, take a guess why... it means a different thing for you then it does to me then it does to everyone else.
I am.
God is.
Am I not? Are you not?
I am.
God is.
Am I not? Are you not?

Thought exists. Thinking.
What am "I"?
I am that.
What am "I"?
I am that.

You asked how do I exist?*
Give me your own answer for "what am I?"

Re: A few topics...what are your thougts?
Again you discriminate what is, changing sensation and illusion, that body isn't you
Re: A few topics...what are your thougts?
Why would an illusion need a belly button ?
Why can't the illusion be belly buttonless ?
Why can't the illusion be belly buttonless ?

Re: A few topics...what are your thougts?
Why do you ask what's behind a door in a dream? why can't the door be roomless?
Re: A few topics...what are your thougts?
Because it has to be logical for me to understand.
The truth is logical.
Fantasy is illogical.

The truth doesn't contain knowledge, the truth is only seen without thought, when you see a tree in a lucid dream, did it grow there, just cause you saw it? Stop distinguishing b'tweenst waking state and dreaming state, giving this one "more reality" then that one.
No matter how much you think this may be wrong, the truth stands.

Re: A few topics...what are your thougts?
the Buddha was talking about human consciousness, human being.
the illusion he was talking about was 'I'.
the dream of 'I'.
the golden mountain.
human consciousness lacks inherent existence.
he said there's things you know, things you don't know, things you know you don't know, things you don't know you don't know. (Rumsfeld pinched that one)
He said I will tell you this which amounts to a leaf on a branch on a tree in an endless forest.
all is empty and exists as names.
no phenomena possesses selfhood.
nothing is permanent, all is transforming.
his winning formula was don't cause harm or you will be embroiled in drama,
which means there are consequences,
which means causality.
John, you are looking for some lottery numbers that have a payoff,
that will get you guru status in a herd,
'fess up.
A dream of an 'I' with 'God' on my side'
common as muck.

Re: A few topics...what are your thougts?
If I was looking for guru status in a herd why would I have said a word about God dennis?
I know at least that much about causality which is an empty appearance of the small scale
There you go dennis, just showed such a probably purposeful ignorance of what the Buddha was talking about implying he was only saying "I" was an illusion and not everything else also.
Caught out here, he definitely and distinctly says that the world, even the water you and the animals drink from is a hallucination of their minds due to thirst which is also a hallucination of the mind itself.
Going to be sincere and call this fact or going to keep lying to yourself saying the buddha didn't say everything, including star dust and belly buttons, were illusions of the mind?

Re: A few topics...what are your thougts?
I agree, that's why we use three letter words.... whoever assigned extra anthropomorphic connotations is at fault, the word doesn't have a meaning, or at least not the same one.Kunga wrote: Then there is nothing to know.
I am
uses three letters
Re: A few topics...what are your thougts?
Ok, John......do you belive in all the stuff Buddha, and all the wise men have said, just by faith ? Or have you tested this stuff to see if it's true ?
“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.” [Buddha]
Are you experienced ?

I said all is empty and empty is empty.
the biggie is 'I'.
its nonexistence is harder to 'get'.

Re: A few topics...what are your thougts?
I wouldn't hesitate to point out what I disagreed with or thought they may have explained badly or maybe even didn't even realize, not that I can really and truly tell from their words or who was where exactly.
There is only one kind of "experienced", and that comes from wakefulness and contemplation of direct experience...
If one stares long enough into what is they will always come to the exact same realization, whether in *this* life or another, this is the nature of truth, the only thing that might vary is description, we are experiencing the same "what is".
A space isn't a letter and if it is fuck the system.
And looking at the process of how a baby comes about helps along the "getting" of it, how you came about, and how your side, self and body are fleeting illusions, it's clear when you see people sitting there staring at the wall or the echidna running around in circles :P
There is only one thing that exists dennis, imaginative experience, illusion, like a dream

Did you know "I" was a one letter word?
Don't say ouch like I just pointed out "I" doesn't exist when we haven't defined it
