Books of transcendent wisdom are not written from the perspective of the logic of intellect, for it is the logic of intellect that is to be transcended so that transcendent wisdom may be received. One of the most beneficial metaphors that expresses the transcendent SELF is that of "Spirit." Why? Spirit is metaphor for that which cannot be held by one's sense awareness of intellect - what can be seen, heard, touched, tasted and smelled in the metaphor "Spirit?"

"Spirit" is one metaphor that cannot be held by one's sense awareness of intellect, as is "Consciousness" and "Awareness." If one is able to get beyond their human sense-intellect conditioning of the "meaning" of "God", and instead, allow themselves to be spoken into metaphor of Spirit, they would find the way to transcend their humanism of the wisdom of the five senses of cause and effect. If indeed, this is their desire.

An example of transcendent wisdom of SELF is the bible, for it uses all the metaphors of SELF: "father", "son", "child", "man", "soul", "mother" - just a few examples of the expression of SELF one encounters as they read from Genesis I to Revelation. In order to become aware of the bible as a metaphorical wisdom of SELF, the reader must set aside every conditioned prejudice he or she may have about what the God of bible "means" to their intellect of sense. A taste of the journey of the biblical metaphor SELF:

The Bible is a metaphorical journey into the psyche (soul) of God's One Soul expressed individually as his livings souls - each individual unit of conscious awareness - you and I, one I of flesh expressed as many I's of flesh. (Father) Consciousness expressed His Soul (the Lord God), and then, by extension, expressed his Soul as individual living souls: Adam~Eve and all their descendants, including you, including me, now, in this moment of being aware of our journey of Thought.

When viewed from this perspective, every thought in the Bible from Genesis II on represents the expressed journey of the Spirit (of God)'s Soul of belief in good and evil. Good and evil thought expressions that are kept alive in the mind of every living soul as long as it remains ignorant to its Omnipresent Expression of I, that which is transcendent to its expressed Soul identity.

The Bible is the story of you, the Bible is the story of me, the story of I AM. Of being subjected to the Lord God of ignorance of Genesis II (the darkness of belief in dual thought awareness - [sense of separate self/mind]) and of awakening to the wisdom of being INFINITE SELF (the Light of Pure Thought Awareness of Genesis I).

MAN, THE METAPHOR

"THE ILLUSION OF GOD"

Man continuously view the reality of life by the variety of the fruits he eats from "the tree of knowledge of good and evil." With the eating of these fruits, confusing and mysterious metaphors, myth, and symbols are placed in man's wake; keeping him ignorant to his responsibility of knowing his body is "the temple of the Holy Spirit." Confusing metaphors, myth, and symbols which falsely represent a split personality of the breath of life in this eternal parenthesis of flesh.

Man is the original metaphor of Spirit awareness; the Word made flesh. But when man plucks the fruit of knowledge of dualism from "the tree of knowledge of good and evil," and ingest this knowledge into his conscious awareness, it becomes the ingredient of matter for the building of his beliefs, and foundation for the collective universal intellect which sustains the eternal world of matter.

It is this ingestion of the fruit of "the tree of knowledge of good and evil" which becomes man's belief that his outer objective vision and inner subjective feelings are not that of one thought. One thought, nothing more, nothing less, which he sees and interpret from opposite positions of continuum in his moving spirit.

Realization that man is the living journey of myth and metaphor that is Self Realization is the realization that pops the human bubble of belief in time and of belief in space and of belief in matter (cause and effect). Self Realization allows the awakened one to speak from the position of being the living metaphor of SELF. This is to step behind/beyond the first metaphorical veil of ignorance/darkness.

This standing behind/beyond the first metaphorical veil of ignorance/darkness is the speaking of the I as the living metaphor of SELF, until awareness of SELF is ITSELF, transcended. This 'final' transcendence of human metaphorical interpretation is the stepping behind/beyond the second metaphorical veil of ignorance/darkness.

The Journey of SELF beyond this point of awareness cannot be suggested by any word of man; it is the journey of the Continuum of I AM that is a Mystery even to the subtlest or highest of metaphors.
