But we have a tendency to rise up together in glorious Revolution once in a while. If they really wanted a slave species, they should have made one which was completely submissive. These guys build shields around planets. It's not too hard to imagine that they can create a slavish race of humans *always* eager serve their asses(which we're not,) with no trace of a rebel mentality whatsoever.

I think we disagree. I don't see any rising up going on, and there's plenty today to rise up about. Judging from the behavior I see around me, something like 999 out of a thousand are totally willing to serve, no matter how ludicrous the cause, and that's pretty close to complete submissiveness.
