It'll be time to say goodbye if you post stuff like this.

Re: Deaf
What's your philosophy Dan, general take on awareness, dreams, illusion?
I think I killed your forum by the way.

Re: Deaf
You'd need to say what those terms mean to you for us to discuss it properly. I don't know what a dream is, really (other than the conventional sleep based ones). Illusions don't exist. i.e. things are neither real nor illusory. To suggest either thing - in the context of ultimate reality - is to be caught up in a false duality.

Re: Deaf
Are you capable of saying anything that makes sense? So far it appears not.

Re: Deaf
Dan, I will try to clarify.
Illusion meaning that our experiences of the world, body, movement, are made up of transient feelings and sensations, that objects have as much "existence" as objects in a dream, (things existing only in what is seen of the mind), in other words, "matter" being made up of the same "stuff"(experience) as the walls in your dream.
"neither real nor illusory"
Yes they are definitely as real as they have ever been, illusion is only referring to the objective world being like a vision or projection, existing only in what is seen.
The question is on your take on awareness or the answer to "What am I?", would you say what is aware of Dan is independent of Dan? That awareness is just part of the illusion and appearances, or, that upon death what is aware of you ceases to be and no longer experiences?
My take is that the world is a lot like a dream and that my individual awareness is only an appearance, that what is aware of me is the same that is aware of you.
