I don't think that's possible, and even if it is I don't have actual access to the php code of the board. The simple way around the issue is to just put a link to an image in the thread and people can click it or not as they see fit. The reason for the prohibition is that I don't want the place to end up looking like a pimple-faced frat house. No intelligent person would stay here 5 minutes if they found threads full of pictures of Simpsons characters and Hilton whores.

I'm pretty sure it's very easy to do if you had the code. Just saying, you should adjust the format of the board to make your rules impossible to break. Also, I don't know if you should be calling Paris that, since she is the face of the new American Society.

acid,

One sign of maturity is the ability to have self control. They're trying to run a mature discussion board here, so having the self control to respect the rules shouldn't be a problem for mature members.

Actually, I've always liked Dan's avatar.
Though I admit it's frequently confused me as to why there are two figures in it.

My theory is that it's a picture of two people having a one-on-one conversation.

Acid,

I think we should ban all Americans.

That just means the New America is populated by whores.

Rory,

There are two people in my avater because they are walking through a forest discussing philosophy. The pic reminds of visiting Kevin when he used to live in a place called Maleny. We used to go for walks at night down the dark, country roads and talk shit......er........philosophy. Real nice place.

That's Paris Hilton? That's one of the ugliest avatars I've ever seen. Looks like a very unhealthy stuck-up man in drag. The opposite of Genius.

The poster called Acid is messing with our minds. Someone who enjoys showboating, or a very insensitive soul.

That's all it takes to mess with your mind? He (or she) is messing with us, but the game is obvious and it is our "choice" whether or not to play along.

I'm not messing with you. I just decided to represent America with the image Paris. What's wrong with that?

You made moronic comments about another poster.

beebuddy, that doesn't answer my question, but i guess you needed to lash out against someone, so i'm glad you have chosen me for that little ritual.

elisabeth isabelle, thanx for the info. i have found a lot of information about the croc hunter at that site.

For the record, nobody lashed out at you, at least not that I read. Someone mentioned you were "messing" with them, that comment was in reference to the idiotic comments you made to another poster. Perhaps the LSD is affecting your memory? Unless, of course, on your planet you consider it something other than idiotic to suggest to someone that they be less boring, then surely you remember.

A thread on boredom might be appropriate. Or "drugs and the mind"!

We do seem to have evidence that drugs adversly affect perception. :)

Anyway, back on topic... So who would win in a fight, Harry or Sid?

are you just bitter because I went off topic and stopped discussing the ins and outs of celebrity death match with you? I thought MTV had cancelled that show, but who am I to say you can't live in the past? 10,000 years of beautiful tradition from Moses to Sandy Kofax. Apparently that's why you are living in the past.
