Enlightenment

Post by SeekerOfWisdom »

It is enlightenment to be aware there is no self, only feelings.

It is enlightenment to be aware reality exists only in sensory experience, which arises from an unknown cause. Buddha called it an "illusion". It is an illusion because it does not exist outside of observation.

Realize the source. The source of the universe is consciousness, not the other way around.

You are the eyes gaze into the creations of consciousness but you are not the hand that forms them.

You have no control over the feelings and thoughts you bear witness too. Consciousness is all that makes up reality and the universe. Anything outside of it is assumed and impossible to evidence.

Once you have realized the illusion, you will see the undeniable need for a cause of our interconnected experiences... , named "tao". It is unknown. You are part of it.

Enlightenment is to realize the divine matrix and be aware that your experiences, are just experiences. They have no effect on your ability to experience.

You will never stop experiencing sensation. So don't worry.

These are not my words, I did not plan them, or think in detail to say them. They just flow, where they flow from is the source.
There is no control over thought, control is assumed because of the complexity.

There is one cause for both the writing of this post, and the reading of it. This cause is the origin, it is the origin of consciousness. It is a higher awareness. Nothing is known about it besides what can be learnt from the manifestations of it that we have witnessed.

Everything I have said is so fundamentally true that any disagreement is a lack of understanding, a lack of true wisdom, a lack of being able to see without prejudice, and a lack of enlightenment. You can only truly accept this once you have seen it.

If you say reality is not an illusion, that this is not enlightenment, then you say the Buddha is not enlightened, and have wrongly defined enlightenment.

Remember, everyone passes away each generation, we are all only children, so don't listen to any child. The most intelligent mathematician or scientist is most probably the worst of philosophers.

Wisdom is seeing the truth. Just witness your experiences without judgement, and you will come to this same understanding. Be wakeful, and even more importantly, recognize when you are not being wakeful so you can quickly return.

How could Buddha be Enlightened.... if he was an Illusion ? :)
Can illusions be Enlightened ?

Diamond Sutra
Chapter 5.
"Subhuti, what do you think? Can the Buddha be recognized by means of his bodily form?"

"No, Most Honored One, the Buddha cannot be recognized by means of his bodily form. Why? Because when the Buddha speaks of bodily form, it is not a real form, but only an illusion."

The Buddha then spoke to Subhuti: "All that has a form is illusive and unreal. When you see that all forms are illusive and unreal, then you will begin to perceive your true Buddha nature."

Easy. Misspellings & paragraph cohesion. His very last sentence explains why.

Why edit 2x?

Misspellings and paragraph cohesion, editing to make better, as Tomas said. Which has nothing to do with my last sentence, whatsoever. I am not the conscious source that wrote this, edited it, or manifested the thoughts that you are a noob for wasting time. I am only witnessing these feelings and thoughts.

Yes all forms are illusive and unreal, I would say there are few in the world that truly understand and are aware of the illusion to the degree I am. But who knows how many enlightened people there are. Are you consciously aware of this often kunga?

And I'm confused, do you disagree with this understanding?

The awkward moment when you realise that you must be enlightened because you agree that: "reality exists only in sensory experience, which arises from an unknown cause"

You say that it come from an unknown source but then you say "it is an illusion because it does not exist outside of observation"... well do you know the source isn't outside observation or is the source unknown make up your mind. if it is unknown please do not say what it is not, to know this would require the source to be known.

"Consciousness is all that makes up reality and the universe. Anything outside of it is assumed and impossible to evidence." i assume you mean impossible to proove because we have plenty of evidence it is just not conclusive.

"You will never stop experiencing sensation. So don't worry." i agree don't worry because you have no control... but how could you possibly know that we will never stop experiencing sensation. We don't have an eternity to see if this is true and in fact we don't know of anyone who has experience senses for over 140 years... a long way off of forever. Even if this was an illusion whos to say it would go on forever... might be nice to think it would but there is simply no reason why that would be the case...

"Remember, everyone passes away each generation, we are all only children, so don't listen to any child. The most intelligent mathematician or scientist is most probably the worst of philosophers." so don't listen to anyone is what you're saying because in terms of the human race we are all children... while i agree that we are all children in terms of the human race i don't see how that means we shouldn't listen to each other, as we are all children we all have room to grow. Also if you disagree and we shouldn't listen to anyone who is a 'child' (which is everyone) why should anyone listen to you? i assume you think that they shouldn't...

Are you who I think you are?

You are one with "the source", you design your future sensual experiences based on emotions and thoughts in a loop, never with control, never with any semblance of real understanding of what's happening, the mind rationalizing or accepting what's put in front of you, as it might do in a dream, this imagination you have your own beginning is based on nothing but your current shallow and limited experiences.
