Aaron Mathis here.

I seek teachers and I will settle in this forest for a while and commune with you.

I am a lonely, broken soul!

But free!

Welcome along Aaron. Feel free to join in a the discussions. But, I have to ask, what do you want "teachers" for and how will you tell if they are good or bad ones?

But its time for my sleep.

It feels a bit like Christmas eve, knowing I will wake up and there will be gifts.

But one year there wasnt! I cried.

And so I learned, from many dissapointments to not be attatched.

No I mean I have conquered her. I have assured myself that I could do it. Faced my fear of her. Climbed the mountain of her.

Twas a mole hill she was!

And I have walked back down and am reunited with the greater female.

No, that is not me.
That is a girl from a TV series and movie who goes through hell and back fighting to get control of her mind.
She inspires me, somewhat.
So I use her picture.

Sometimes, before I say things I ask myself why I would say them. I ask in order to find what causes me to say them. I have found this is a good practice to do for anyone interested in spirituality, philosophy...or anything closely related to that.

Why are you here, Aaron?

Rory,

Yes, I too know hell quite well.

Women is a big part of hell. She takes you there, but she doesnt appear like she would, but she does.

I have no regrets.

If I never knew what it was like to have sex, then I would always be thinking about it - never understanding my fear and longing.

Now, following thunderous intercourse, only ashes remain. And so when I see a woman now, I see mere ashes.

I have gained foresight.

I've come to consider the thoughts of the wise men - such as yourself it seems. And I am stove chocked with great dry wood of spiritual power.

And I know we are sacred Breathren.

Ah, well we shall say Hell is in your own mind. Hell is unconsciousness which plagues us all. Hell is having that consciouness stolen from you and watching it be done, knowing it's being done, but having no control over the situation.

Women? Perhaps. At least, the woman in you.

Aaron,
I've come to consider the thoughts of the wise men - such as yourself it seems.
"I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing."
- Socrates

I emphasize, regarding myself, the part about knowing nothing.
And I am stove chocked with great dry wood of spiritual power.
What is "spiritual power" to you? Why do you seem to want to be lit?
And I know we are sacred Breathren.
I'm just a human being. I don't have spiritual fantasies. I prefer the stark truth.

Anyway, I really enjoyed reading this from you, Aaron...
Now, following thunderous intercourse, only ashes remain. And so when I see a woman now, I see mere ashes.

I have gained foresight.
The words you chose are hilarious. Thunderous intercourse! I can't imagine what that could even mean, haha!

I know kind of what you mean, though. When you truly look at women you realize they aren't the angels you imagined...they are just human. I suspect that's what you meant by seeing mere "ashes".

It's good that you've gained some conscious foresight. In time you'll see if the foresight extends down below the conscious, into the murky depths of the mind which control the conscious. If you can feel absolutely free in the midst of women, then it can be said you've gained unconscious foresight...or in other words, perfection.

Welcome to the forum. Have fun.

River from Firefly. Top show--prematurely axed, of course.

Book: What are we up to, sweetheart?
River: Fixing your Bible.
Book: I, um...(alarmed)...what?
River: Bible's broken. Contradictions, false logistics - doesn't make sense. (marked up the bible, crossed out passages)
Book: No, no. You - you can't...
River: So we'll integrate non-progressional evolution theory with God's creation of Eden. Eleven inherent metaphoric parallels already there. Eleven. Important number. Prime number. One goes into the house of eleven eleven times, but always comes out one. Noah's ark is a problem.
Book: Really?
River: We'll have to call it early quantum state phenomenon. Only way to fit 5000 species of mammal on the same boat. (rips out page)

Aaron,

Scott's a good boy, but sometimes he garbles his words. This is what I think he was trying to say:
It's good that you've gained some conscious foreskin. In time you'll see if the consciousness of the foreskin extends down below, into the murky depths of the testicles, which control the body. If you can feel absolutely fabulous in the midst of women, then it can be said you've gained conscious foreskin...or in other words, penetration.
Then again, probably you were circumcised? In any case, I repeat Scott's final sentiment,

Welcome to the forum. Have fun.

So, you have used women for your own gain and are proud of it. Great resume Aaron (please note sarcasm).

What are you saying, Scott? That you approve of having sex with women merely as a means of conquering them? That isn't David or Dan's philosophy at all. This guy states he's here to learn - what are you trying to teach him?

I don't approve of using women. If a man feels the need to conquer a woman by having sex with her, he is simply being conquered by his own stupidity.

I don't approve of David or Dan's philosophy. I try to distance myself from it. A more effective way of making it known that I disapprove of it, is by leaving the forum.

What I was trying to teach this guy is that he's absolutely wrong about the unknown/spirituality/wisdom, etc.

Yes, I do think you were being a nag, Elizabeth. What you said didn't come from wisdom.

So, you think that calling me a nag for pointing out that using women for sex as a self-serving means for conquering them teaches him about the unknown/spirituality/wisdom? That does not logically follow. Not only does your name-calling not speak from wisdom, it doesn't even speak from logic.

Elizabeth, you said to me:
So, you have used women for your own gain and are proud of it. Great resume Aaron (please note sarcasm).
No! I'm not proud of what I did. I am rejoicing in my strong faith! As a young man I knew that I wanted to be a religious man, I knew that sex with woman was bad - - but I didnt understand it, I didnt have faith in it.

Rather than resist my curiosities - - I penetrated!

And now, following the great sorrow - I rejoice in my new freedom, I rejoice in my new self esteem.

I know that I have sinned - - - but sinning is an important part of self esteem.

Perhaps I make it seem like i treated the woman like a prostitute.

Know, I was courted her like a gentlemen, but she didnt understand my longing for the unassailable power!

To concerned with having Kids, too concerned with reputation.

AH! I mustnt dwell too much on her, or else my heart shrinks!
