Last weekend, I listened to the beat that was coming out of the club while I froze my ass off in the van 'cause my friend was too drug-crazy to think that I might not want to spend 6 hours freezing in the back of a van -- trying to sleep --

Otherwise, I think music prevents people from thinking clearly, especially when on buses. You learn a shit-ton more people watching than music-repeating. I know. Memorized dozens of song lyrics back in highschool when I was supposed to be memorizing the parts of the cell. Looking for messages. Not from God or anything -- just the messages that lyricists think important. Where does that lead me? Not to university, to the law degree I considered; instead, to the back of a van, freezing my ass off.

If I have this much insight, why don't I do the law degree? Am I lazy? Or, worse: am I onto something here? What's so special about the back of the van?

Naw, just legal prescriptions. I was sick from the last club; got hit on by several guys, and this was probably the shittiest dance club in the city. Just techno and white people standing around fucked up.

I took six hours of quiet time because it sure as hell beats a headache.
