Re: Wisdom

Sevens:
Wisdom is at once the loveliest gift and the heaviest burden.

Nicely turned sentence. I think you could have left out "at once" because of redundancy but so it goes.

What is wisdom?

How is wisdom a lovely gift?

How is wisdom a burden?

What are the lovely rewards of wisdom?

What happens when wisdom is a burden?

Cool

Post by sevens »

D,

One conception of cool, I guess.

M,

Well, second-adolescences are cool. 50 cent, not-so-cool.

(And, Teach, I passed the exam in kindergarden.)

But, it's cool.

Edit: Hubris retract.

M,

Wisdom is understanding. It is lovely, because it eliminates energy suction. Energy is air - breath is a circular thunder bolt. It is a burden, early on, because others lack it: causing frustation, confusion and isolation to infiltrate the body. But, true wisdom is divinity - there is no need for rules. Imagine the feeling of an approaching storm in late July. The warmth and the chill, tingle - but deep down, there is only calm.

I think of "cool" as meaning essentally the same thing as "fashionable." Do you have a different idea in mind?

Water

Post by sevens »

Well, for me, there's Bob Dylan cool and there's Bruce Lee cool.

Bob Dylan cool is a self-generating sun loop.

Bruce Lee cool is the ability to react under any circumstance, with wisdom and intelligence - wick water whips.

Book Binding

Barefoot on grass hills, laughing at shapes, strewn out cross the sky, is where the dreams shake loose. When the shy smile comes from that bashful moon, I wave and look to the right. Constellations pop and crackle, with their frozen stares - I dare rewrite their names! When that sun yawns, I give high fives, and do a little dance: the one he taught me, up over many moons.

Today, the birds taught me a new song. As they flew, new constellations appeared within the daylight: revealing brand new time signatures.

Jesus

Post by sevens »

There are Christians that experience spiritual truth - there is much Truth in the Bible. But, what they lack, is true self-reliance; or, a throughly stable, and open mind. Jesus, as an individual, was Truth. Yet, many others throughout history have walked on water, performed magical feats, expelled demons, and foretold their own death.

The book of Revelation has me wondering: yet, metaphor easily metamorphs.

Jesus should be used as a holy hand, and a step -- the same with Buddha.

Nature is your source.

...But, peace is the priority.

If you don't enjoy funk music, you have no soul.

Period.

We all wish our parents and siblings were more understanding, more considerate - more sane. But, if you look through the kaleidoscope, you may notice that the universe presents you with new images, to place in your mind, and heart - through other people.

Activity at the quantum level is rain descending from the sky, forming erratic patterns on the ground. The lineage of cause and effect is traced, but remains invisible still. But, its root is in the ground.

The theory of everything may not be a string, but a rainbow.

Nietzsche was wrong. Mysticism is deep, as the psyche; or, as the universe.

Time Traverse

Post by sevens »

I just traveled back in time at the local bookstore. As I'm browsing the art section, I faintly overhear a father nervously talking with his son. You can hear the love in his tender voice, but his lack of confidence hinders his ability to receive any affection from his son - greatly confusing the child. As I hear this, I reach for a brilliantly lit book by Dali: And my heart explodes, silent as a bath...

Science is a marvel, yes. But, be sure to separate science, and mind. You hear the rain tap, but might suddenly think, 'Oh, just a chemical composition, falling to a chemical composition.' No.

Your imagination -- found in your favorite books, paintings, films, music and dreams -- is where true light lives.

A Musical, Diatribe!

Post by sevens »

Mediative music is great for relaxation, but it is super for honing the mind. Begin to follow music, creatively; allowing your unconscious mind to spring forth and play -- whether dark or light -- or, grey (matter)!
