100% agree with this. In terms of wisdom and firm foundations in logic, unless they already have an advanced and largely self-made interest, I've found that talking with people teen+ has next to no impact. At "best", they will sense the concreteness of the foundation, not know what it is, but knowing it is not who THEY are. Instead they might enjoy the friendship, ride the leadership, and never really go off on their own.

In a way I'm growing backwards now. Learning to see what I already knew back then but without the lack of power, without constantly being overshadowed by all the imaginative interpretations I was giving it all.
Same here. I love the little nostalgia hits when a concept emerges in powerful clarity and with the feel of 5 years old, 11 years old, etc. There is extremely little drama about it, and yet such a pleasure.

I think people are always into philosophy in the sense that they have a philosophy and opinions. But they won't admit to being a philosopher because that requires honesty and effort.

Hmm..like a Savakabuddha. They must be able to know what the teacher knows, but I guess they can't adapt it outside of their foundation. Still, heaven is heaven.

I'd say it's about as hard to confirm you are wise as it is to confirm you know the truth. ;)

:)
What I wrote was meant to be read as circular, like a Catch 22. So your reply was actually just a different stage of my Quote.

My reply was MERELY THAT? you bastard. You win this time, but just know that if instead of messaging, we were doing something like swashbuckling, not only would I win the duel, but there would be this moment in our fight where would I laugh and then skillfully jump off something.
