For the record, nobody lashed out at you, at least not that I read. Someone mentioned you were "messing" with them, that comment was in reference to the idiotic comments you made to another poster. Perhaps the LSD is affecting your memory? Unless, of course, on your planet you consider it something other than idiotic to suggest to someone that they be less boring, then surely you remember.

are you just bitter because I went off topic and stopped discussing the ins and outs of celebrity death match with you? I thought MTV had cancelled that show, but who am I to say you can't live in the past? 10,000 years of beautiful tradition from Moses to Sandy Kofax. Apparently that's why you are living in the past.
So it is ok on your planet?

Planet X is nice this time of year. Thanks for asking. We are doing quite well up here, and we expect to resume broadcasting to our lower earthling species (ie. you people) within the next few years. You can think of us as the culmination of all that you lack.

test...test....test... is the signal coming in yet??

No, you misunderstood, there is no interest in how you feel about wherever you are.

I live on Planet X. There is a new colony of highly evolved people who have all teleported through space and arrived at our destination. Here we will make the new Adam, and we will allow Him to preside over the earthlings, through the radio waves and high speed internet connection.

That's all it takes to mess with your mind? He (or she) is messing with us, but the game is obvious and it is our "choice" whether or not to play along.
Yes, that is "all it takes." I choose to not view the pornography that is Paris Hilton's celebrity persona, over and over, while I am reading philosophy discussions, and will therefore scroll past posts in which that garish image appears. Same as I would pass up celebrity magazines on the check out line at the food store.

Why represent a sick aspect of your country?

That's like saying marilyn monroe is disgusting. Paris is that big in our culture, but perhaps some people believe you need to die before everyone will love you. She is glamorous, and you don't really want a virgin to represent your culture, so I am happy with her image.

1. She is.
2. That doesn't make it a good thing. Frankly I think that part of American (and to some degree world) culture is disgusting.
3. Yes I do.

I'm sick of the image that people like Paris give to the rest of the world. When I travel I have to be more afraid for my safety than I otherwise would have to be. I have been to many places where people will find out you are American and take that as permission to grab your boobs or ass because that is the way our pop culture portrays us. It's disgusting.

The fodder was just too good to ignore. :) Unfortunately, there are male chauvinists everywhere. India is particularly bad for it, though.

Yes. The group I was with had a "message board" (in reality a large piece of paper and markers) with warning messages on it for eachother... we wound up listing nearly every taxi driver as trying to kidnap people and take them to the wrong places. More than a few people had to tuck and roll out of a rickshaw who tried to take them down some dead end ally... :(

okay, then get yourself an image of the Virgin Mary, and you can put that as your avatar. I'll be mary magdalene, and you be the virgin mary, and we can argue about whether or not a whore has suffered more.

Frankly I'd be more upset with the virgin mary was the symbol of our culture. Actually I don't get why we have to have one individual as our national culture... trying to make it into one thing when it is so varied. LA is nothing like Statesboro. :p

yeah, well I'm from LA, so we can keep Paris, and you could just be yourself. I, however, have justified why I am using Paris, but I don't insist that others agree with me about the image.

Oh shut up, rory. Paris is hot, rich and you're just jealous. Yes, I'm asserting you're that petty.

Then you clearly don't know me at all.
Fortunately for me, I've already come to the conclusion that you're nothing but a nasty troll and I don't care about your opinion.

I've heard the argument before that I hate beautiful women, but they seem to miss my point. I don't hate them; I pity them. I pity anyone so desperate to fit in that they lose who they are.

Leaves that turn red in the fall qualify as well. Specially the little Japanese Maple ones.

Beebuddy, I have read many of your posts on this forum, and I wonder why everything you say is completely inane. Why don't you take a break from yourself and post a little content? We are all anxiously awaiting your contribution, but so far you have said nothing of any value at all.
