Thanx Tek0; I've seen her work, she seems to know what she's talking about. But now... what would the appropriate model be? Something the Nazis and others who wanted to emulate Spartan culture always miss was the power of women in the culture. Unlike the patriarchy of the Nazis, Neonazis, white surpremacists, et al. it was always up to the women to select the sperm donors.
That's why their eugenics program worked, and why nobody else's did. Everyone else tried to use monogamy. But Lycurgus, at the git go, selected the most powerful competent women to bear the warriors of the next generation, and in five generations had a spectacular success.
Were we today to emulate Lycurgus, we'd select the smartest most emotionally stable and physically fit, altho not the physically largest, women. You dont need big men on the battle line any more. In fact, you dont need men at all. Women have better fine muscle control for sharper shooting. And there are chemicals and other means to control opponents. The nature of opposition has changed as well. The guys are in pin stripe suits now, not shining armor. And the thing to fight them with is even sharper wits, more imagination, creative energy, innovation, and the intuitive skill in body language to understand them better than they do themselves.
And now, they get to go to the sperm bank and choose from among thousands of the most promising Y chromosome lines, Never mind the data they'll be having on DNA markers and haplotypes to get the next generation that will be even more competitive and successful. They'd all be Lesbians, with no romantic attachment, thus no emotional vulnerability, to men at all. And with PGD, they can just not bother implanting any male zygotes.
I think some men kinda got this figured out, but subconsciously, so they are freaking out. The way robots are developing, the dykes wont even need these guys around as slaves. Even Helots are obsolete. cheeeze.
