Please show me a link where each of these has been documented.

I've experienced a room full of people doing a flying yogi pose, which basically entailed everyone sitting cross-legged, squeezing their butt cheeks together and pushing down with their thighs until they bounce, and continue to bounce off the ground like that for a few minutes. It takes a bit of stretching of the definition of flying to include bouncing, but that's how that one is done.

I'm sure if they could be observed scientifically they can be explained scientifically.

I agree with Animus. The short answer is "yes."

Let me give a more complete response.

The first four I have really no ideas on, as far as I know there is no observable basis for them. Walking on water is a magic trick preformed by Chris Angel. Shape-shifting is an artifact of compression. Walking through walls is impossible. Speed walking is a neat skill.

Those are my guesses for the first four phenomena. Telepathy is something that has been somewhat scientifically studied under the heading "Psi" along with OBEs, NDEs and other strange phenomena. Scientific evidence for telepathy comes from studies of individuals asked to read the image on cards they could not see. The results of these studies, in my opinion and others are negligible. However there are researchers who claim that even a subtle effect is worth mentioning. I think the researchers overlook crucial information from within neuroscience. That is that the brain processes information that is not available for conscious awareness but is available for cognition. One example is the visual information processed by the superior colliculus. A person has cognitive availability of the orientation of lines even when they are consciously blind (Blindsight). It is possible that the line orientations on the cards are cognitively available - even though the card is turned around - but not conscious. That is of course assuming that the subtle effect isn't just an artifact of the research methods. In the end there really isn't much evidence for telepathy in laboratory conditions.

even if i showed you a link of documentation...would you belive it ?

i have no proof except what i have read from books talking about yogis.....books about the Mahasiddhas, Milarepa, etc.

although i have not witnessed this phenomena myself...i have faith these things happen.

science/scientists do not have all the answers...but i think yogis have the answers :)

by practicing certain yogic principals you will get results....it's a science only yogis comprehend....

but the ego has to die

what scientist is willing to kill his ego in search for the truth ?

How about a picture or two of what these people look like (from your persepective). They needn't be doing anything other than being normal. Certainly these folk eat food, drink water, take a dump like their parents did.

I've spent a great deal of time (the common every-day life) with a few Native American tribes in North Dakota, where I grew up. Arikara, Hidista, Sioux, Chippewa, Mandan, and travels to Arapaho from Colorado, Choctaw from Arkansas, Southwestern tribes, too..

Just a link so I can envision in my mind what you are seeing, cool?

PS - to Elizabeth. Good succinct comments ;-)

No, no. Any live human beings? Buddha never existed. Abraham Lincoln never existed, Yogi Bear is an imaged cartoon. They are just worshipful-relics of the forgotten past. Though, I've met Yogi Berra of New York Yankees fame on a couple/few dinner circuits. (If you come to a fork in the road .. take it.)

Any photos of this Robert Beers fellow? I checked out the site, they seem to be street-hawking some material. I've traveled quite extensively in the Eastern Hemispheric zone, seen one and seen them all statues of yesteryear..

Seriously then, you've never seen a live yogi?

The ones Elizabeth refers to are the same sorts of critters I've run across.

i think i have seen live yogis...but they would never display any powers openly (this is forbidden)
only in very special circumstances would they ever be used purposely...and being that i already have deep faith
it is not nessesary for me to see them....

a few strange things have happened tho with my teacher...
once when i dropped him off after spending the whole day with him, my car filled with the scent of Tibetan incense...

and another time when i took some pictures of him....all the film in my camera turned upside down & i had double exposures....

and a few other strange things...like mental telepathy stuff....

i have a few other teachers that live in India...they are probebly yogis...

i don't understand why you say Buddha never existed...or Abraham Lincoln....there is historical evidence verifying they existed.....

and my opinion of Jesus is that he was also a yogi...he walked on water & raised the dead...oh, and changed water into wine and made enough food for multitudes with just a loaf of bread.....just to mension a FEW yogic things he did....

You'd probably benefit from Keith Loy's Finding Reality: Awakening to Spiritual Freedom, Kunga. Loy claims to have been a "Yogi" for several years. His book is more-or-less about how all that is a "sideshow" distraction from reality. But in all honesty, Jed McKenna's books say a lot more and are closer to the truth in my opinion.

DHodges,

True. Which things do you refer to, exactly, that don't happen? And how do you know, exactly?
