How to locate forums

Post by Alex Jacob »

Is there some sort of search engine for locating forums? I know that different services like phpBB and Yahoo forums have indexes you can search through, but is there some other method to locate forums? Any help would be appreciated. If you were looking for forums to particpate in, how would you go about finding them?

http://www.yuku.com/find/
http://www.big-boards.com/
http://ezboard.com/
http://www.hostboard.com/
http://groups.google.com.au/

Or just do a Google search on a given subject and add "forum" or "discussion' or phpBB" to the string.

Dan just kindly proved that GF is not a cult. You are not trapped here.

I'm just...a bird who's been blown off course, Elizabeth. Or, a ship passing in the night that sought refuge in your harbor. I was given provisions and water, and it did not happen that any rats got on board. I even made a contribution to the harbor captain!

But mine, Elizabeth, is the High Seas!

That depends on the circumstances. After all, it isn't easy being green.

Hey, you asked. I thought I was being helpful!

[edit: it's really not that difficult to find half decent forums. Alex, give me a short list of content you'd be interested in and I'll give you a list of suitable forums within 20 minutes]
