You're all welcome to add tips in any area you feel expert in. We're particularly looking for those "genius" tips that turn complicated and difficult things into simple and easy things.

Keeping warm: A sure way to keep warm is to carry a candle with a candle holder and an extra large poncho. Pile a layer of insulation on the ground. Sit down on that insulation pile and have your extra large poncho totally enclose your body, including your head, and light the candle. In this small space the air will quickly heat up.

Do you monitor these tips?

It's dangerous, but it would work if you're dying of cold.

No, we can't monitor all of them. But we're hoping to have "moderators" who will volunteer to look after specialist categories.
