He who has realized the Self, which is innate, unborn, and inconceivable, is not contaminated by any evil, EVEN IF HE ACTS IN WHATEVER WAY HE LIKES. And once he is free from ignorance, he cannot perform any action. For that reason the self-controlled mendicant is never bound.

Again, why would a person of such understanding have preferential likes of the type you have described for yourself in the past couple of years?

All I see, is an intellectualized attempt at justification for your external addictions. I see you quoting passages from books that you perhaps have read, but I have never had the inclination to believe that your personal writings show a deep connection and understanding of the pervasiveness of being. Instead, I continue to see a man fixated on the temporal shiny things that dance around him. It is shallow.

For me, it is similar to someone who continually espouses their maturity, and yet everytime I see them, they are sucking their thumb or having a tantrum because mommy won't give any candy. I personally have no problem if the way you describe your state of mind is true. But quoting Hindu passages won't convince me.

10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. 11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them

Why Parables?

Mark 4.1-12

This morning we begin a section of Mark in which Jesus teaches using parables. Jesus is not the only person to use parables. Many have thought that a parable can make a difficult truth easier to understand. Lots of people assume that that is why Jesus used parables. Yet, the text before us tells us that that is not the case. In fact, Jesus used parables not to make truth clearer to all but rather to hide it from some. I realize that a statement like that will raise a lot of questions. It may strike someone as the exact opposite of what you might expect. All the more reason to pay close attention to our text.

He stands on the shoulders of geniuses and repeats their words and teachings, having no respect or understanding for the way in which these wise men have attained such heights. Unwise, for your own sake and the sake of others please re-think yourself. You have gone astray from God's path long ago. You may never be able to re-allign yourself with the path of Truth, but at least minimize the potential damage to others.

Do you not see how disgusting this is? Your entire life is basically one huge ego-trip. Everything you say and do expresses how much you value your ego. Every single post you made in this thread, I doubted as your original words. It's not even the words I have been critisizing, it's the fact that they are coming from you. I could have commented on this but there are deeper issues to be resolved with you. You have become one of the biggest false representatives of Truth I have ever encountered. Calling yourself a sage, enlightened, or whatever word you use is a disgrace to these things. With every word you utter, you destroy or mislead the spirit of anyone you encounter who had good potential to value Truth above all.

Nick my son, I AM GOD.

You speak of god's path. Are you a Christian? Who is this god of which you speak?

The God of fast motorcycles and men who wear leather. Oh and I can't forget, having sex with younger women. Are you familiar with this God?

Nick,

Are you old enough to post here without your parent's permission?

You're in way over your head. You should back out before you get hurt and have bad dreams.

Now go have a cookie with milk. Nite nite.

Back out before I get hurt? Is that a threat? Please elaborate and let me know how I will get hurt! And how did I go from being refered to as your son, to being threatened in the first place? Your wishy-washy nature isn't very sagely. I think my Super Sage is starting to show his true colors. As if you haven't done that already...

Truly, I am neither bound nor free nor separated from Brahman. I am neither the doer nor the enjoyer, neither the pervader nor the pervaded.

As water mixed wiith water remains the same undifferentiated water, so Prakriti (matter) and Purusha (spirit) both appear identical to me.

Look, 'you' and 'I' have NEVER existed. It is sheer nonsense to consider oneself as having a family or caste. Truly I am Brahman - the Supreme Reality. How can I make salutations ot It?

From the point of view of God or Purusha or Brahman, there is no time or space or any other beings. Not the thought of living forever - time is meaningless. You are not in time. Time is created as is space as are people as is matter. You alone are the Absolute Reality.

I did not want to stay in that state which is why the world appears for me and you. From that point, the most God-like, amazing, wondrous, impossible, miraculous, awesome, inconceivable thing is that an Earth could appear with people on it and you could become a being on it who imagines himself bound by all sorts of pleasures and problems. It is wonderful and desirable to simply be a fool. And this is why it does not matter what sort of person you are or if you seek enlightenment at all.

This is why some Americans looked all over India for an enlightened guru and found him handing out candy to people and going to parties. They said, "Why do you give candy to people - it is bad for the teeth." And he laughed and just said, "Why don't you just enjoy yourself?"

Shortly thereafter, the gingivitis reached his medulla oblongata and he perished.
