Animal communication, much like our interpretation of music, is a language. Instead of words and inflection, animals rely purely on the inflection of sound to convey their message. In communicating with one another, animals utilize feeling, a close companion of instinct. With an acute ear, you may observe the intent of a sensitive melody. Much like listening to a symphony or a delicate human voice reading a poem, the songs of birds may convey their emotional and mental message. Since humans use distinct regions of the brain to interpret the meaning of sounds, it is plausible that a majority of humans could learn to effectively commune with all animals - much like a shaman. This form of brain processing could also enhance other faculties and talents, since this process would increase communication between both hemispheres of the brain.
Neon Signs
Sages can look at words and quickly flash into a person's mind - even out in public.
This skill is a vital tool. To develop it, begin to recognize universal connections and associations within, or between, one, two or fifty words. Associations that fit together like puzzle pieces - your own refined knowledge, and perception, being the child at play.

Children
Children are pure light beams! To establish an organization that would offer supreme insight into the human mind, of the parent and of the child - would be AWESOME!
What a force! Parents returning to Dream Land, with their children! It is too ideal! But, what an ideal!
Giving birth to a second adolescence!

Imitation
I have made imitation of others my friend. At one time it sadly defined me, for I lacked the education to distinguish myself from those surrounding me. But now, I can add the 'personalities' (intellect, learning style, perception) of others to my own ego, in order to further my understanding of myself, others and the universe. This 'phenomena' occurs through a subtle memory, directed by a growing, directing ego.

At the beginning...
Each philosopher's biography must be examined before even a consideration of his works.
Phobias
Phobias are directly related to personal symbolism. If not a direct relation to an earlier trauma, the symbolism is related to unconscious fears. For instance, a phobia of forests could very well be caused by a fear of deep introspection. Since all of existence is experienced through the psyche, it holds the answers and the questions to all ailments, mental or physical.
Individuality
How I long to flee from humans, while at the same time embrace them! This is only due to my striving for true individuality.
Dream Tech
Is it possible to construct a computer program to decipher dreams? So many variables. But, with an interactive interface, where the user inputs their own reactions to symbols within the dream, it might be a plausible invention.
Trouble
The trouble with life is that some things need complexity to be made simple and some things need simplicity to be made complex - this is one of the roots of human suffering. A large portion of suffering can be overcome by this realization and the realization that others are ignorant of this realization.
Re: Animal language
Some animals do, some don't. Some animals use body language rather than sound.sevens wrote:Animal communication, much like our interpretation of music, is a language. Instead of words and inflection, animals rely purely on the inflection of sound to convey their message.
For example, the Australian bearded dragon communicates by bobbing its head or body up and down, and also by turning its 'beard' (the area under its mouth) different colors. It turns black when he is very excited, a light shade when he is relaxed.
Also, different species might react to the same sound quite differently. Most will react to a "Shhh" sound by calming down. However, the tegu gets quite alarmed by this same sound. I suspect that there are dangerous snakes in its native habitat.
Communicating with animals is not that hard, really. However, animals don't have all that much to say. They are pretty good at communicating ideas like "I am hungry," "I am agitated," "That feels good," "I'm happy to see you," or "That hurts!"it is plausible that a majority of humans could learn to effectively commune with all animals - much like a shaman.
Animals (on the whole) have animal drives, and not much else. Philosophy is an abstract mental activity, which most animals (including humans in many cases) are not capable of.
The Sounds of Language: In Actions
Yes. But, animals, like humans, live within Nature. When a human has merged with Nature, animals (and insects) become another vital source of universal knowledge.

Olivia
I once held a dying flower. She birthed many foreign tongues - but I was born too late. She once told me, inside of a poem, that I showed her God. It was then that she passed on. Through her, I found heaven. Tragic is the irony, but so beautiful is the soul.
