The world is quickly becoming a selfish place, where lives are traded like baseball cards and the people cry out for Justice. Claims for more personal responsibility ring out from the masses but the sweet tones of inner truth are being muffled by their own contradictions. We are a confused race, trying to fight ourselves and proudly justifying the collateral damage with the fact that a meal can be ordered and received in less than ten minutes. Our natural inclinations to take aspects of our environment and adapt them to improve our survival rate has been perverted, twisted, molded, and transformed until we are choking on our addiction of instant gratification. And whilst we stumble about with these conflictions, abusing our psyches that have grown out of proportion, we strive to medicate and condemn all emotions. Urges, habits, appearances, thoughts, and philosiphies that make the majority uncomfortable. We are too numb to feel the bed of nails we have lain ourselves upon, too stubborn to acknowledge that we have locked the shackles in around our own appendages, too preoccupied to remember where the key was placed and too consciensly oblivious to realize that we are entombed in a prison of our own demise whilst remaining so arrogant as to assume the role of warden.
